If you are from other places away from Mindanao, the best way to travel to Mati City is through Davao City and the nearest airport is the Davao City Airport or the Francisco Bangoy International Airport.
From Davao City, you need to catch the Bachelor Express bus to Mati City or if you have enough money to spare, you can take a taxi, hire a van, or ask a friend who has their own car. Aside from Bachelor Express, you can also catch a bus service operated by Davao Metro Shuttle, that departs from Abreeza station.
Traveling or riding a bus is the easiest or the cheapest way to travel to Mati City from Davao, you can catch a bus at the Ecoland Transport terminal which costs around P260 to P400 for around four to five hours of travel time.
If you are traveling alone, you can also ride a van at Gaisano Mall or Victoria Plaza which will cost you around P220.00 with a travel time of around three to four hours.
Once you arrived at Mati City, you can hire a habal-habal or tricycle to take you to Barangay Dahican in Mati City, and you can save some money if you know how to negotiate well as it costs around P40.00 only with 15-20 minutes of travel time.
