Pokhara, the heart of nepali tourism is one of the most beautiful in Asia. Surrounded by Mount Fishtail in the north and green hills all round makes this place a good hub for Nepali tourism. My recent visit to Phewa lake became special because i got to enjoy the moments with my dear friends Dr. Satish and Dr. Nirajan.
Unplanned trips are really memorable and enjoyable. Despite the hectic 36 hours hospital duty we rushed to a short escape to the pleasant, cool and green environment of Phewa Lake.
It was just an hour ride from my workplace. As soon as we reached the lake, it caught our attention. The image reflection of the hills and trees on the lake looked really amazing.
Without wasting a minute, we took a paddle boat on rent, a cartoon of can beer and dry snacks in a bag and rushed to the lake shore.
The cool wind, smell of wet soil, movement of fishes was adding a good vibes.
It was mid afternoon when we finished the paddle boat ride. We had ice-cream and coffee. Local shops, small cafes and friendly people added warmth to the experience. This trip was not just about the sightseeing of the location and view but also to experience peace, nature and view of Nepal.
Best part of the day:
The best part was simply sitting on the boat in the middle of the lake looking at the clean blue sky. Everything felt so peaceful with no noise, stress, pollution- just water sound, cool air, blue sky and freindship.
That's all for today guys. See you soon with next blog.
