Hello Hive Community.
I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. My post today is different from all my other posts. In today's post, I have introduced a religious place with you that is blessed with the presence of nature. This place is still untouched and people do not know much about this place. The place I have introduced with you today is the Buddhist Monastery in Tshoka. Now I will give some information about where this place is located. Tshoka is a small village. Which is located inside the famous Kanchenjunga National Park of West Sikkim. This Buddhist Monastery is at an altitude of about 3,150 meters above sea level. This place is known as a stop for trekkers. In simple terms, Tshoka Buddhist Monastery is a small and peaceful monastery located in the beautiful mountains of Sikkim.
The red building seen in the photograph above is the Buddhist Monastery. The monastery's chapel is red in color but it looks white due to being covered with snow. In the middle of the first photograph above, the small monastery stands peacefully on a snowy hill. This monastery is surrounded by tall trees and deep valleys on all sides. Looking at the Sas Thal, you must have the impression that this place is a wonderful blend of peace, prayer and natural beauty. This monastery, seen in the middle of the photograph, looks simple but very charming. Around this monastery, colorful prayer flags flutter in the cold mountain breeze. These flags give a bright and spiritual feel to the entire place.
As seen in the photograph above, a small and beautiful lake frozen with snow is visible next to the monastery. This lake is covered with snow and is surrounded by the ground, tall trees and colorful prayer flags. The surface of this lake is covered with a thin layer of snow. Small white flakes of snow can be seen floating on the thin layer of snow in this lake. The still water and ice give the lake a serene feel. The cold climate of the mountains has turned the lake into a soft gray sheet of ice, which makes this lake look very unique and beautiful.
The road to reach this Buddhist Monastery is very difficult. During the winter, this road becomes very difficult. Rest of the time, during the summer, there is no much difficulty in reaching here. Now if I talk about Tshoka here, Tshoka is located inside the famous Kanchenjunga National Park in the state of Sikkim. This area is high in the Himalayas. As seen in the photographs, it often snows here during the winter. Due to which the ground, trees and roofs here are covered with white snow. Due to this snowfall, the entire scene looks like a winter paradise. There is so much snow here that one does not know where the footpath to walk here is. Due to which it becomes essential to have a local guide during this time. Which helps you reach the natural wonders seen here during winter.
After heavy snowfall in winter, this entire area looks like heaven. All four sides are covered with a sheet of snow. The natural beauty created due to this sheet of snow can be seen in the two photographs presented above. In these photographs, a natural scene surrounded by dense trees is seen. The branches and green leaves of these trees are twisted. There is also some snow on these leaves. Due to which the green leaves have also become white. The forest seen here looks dense and a little dark due to fog. Along with this, this forest is also very peaceful. Walking through such a forest gives the feeling of being close to nature.
From the first photograph above, you will realize that it looks like a beautiful trekking path leading to the Buddhist monastery in Tshoka. This road is not an ordinary road but a narrow road covered with snow. Which passes through a dense forest. In the second photograph, you will see piles of snow. From that, you will not realize how thick or thin the layer of snow is. Due to this snow, it is also very important to be careful while walking here. If there is a hole under the snow, an accident can also occur. But putting all these thoughts aside, this journey to reach the monastery becomes an adventurous and memorable journey.
In the photograph above, I have opened the hectopascal visible on the clock. Which shows you the atmospheric pressure at such a height. This parameter shows the weather trends and altitude. Under normal circumstances, 1013 hPa is the average pressure at sea level.
As can be seen in the first photograph above, this monastery is built on a small hill. From here, a vast view of the surrounding mountains can be seen. If you look carefully at the photograph above, you can see the layers of mountains fading away in the distance. These mountains look blue and misty. Which creates a very peaceful and dreamy atmosphere. The sky above is full of clouds. And soft sunlight is passing through them. That sunlight makes the scene more beautiful. The joy of seeing the view of this place from a height is amazing. Once you sit here, you don't want to get up or move forward. Just sitting here and watching this wonderful view.
As seen in the photographs taken above, tall trees stand like silent guardians around the monastery. These trees are partially covered with snow. The dark trunks of these trees create a strong contrast against the white environment. The branches of the trees look delicate and artistic. Which adds to the beauty of this place. Below the monastery, there are bushes and plants covered in snow, which give the ground a soft and peaceful look. In the first photograph, one can see partially frozen water on one side. The path leading to the monastery is narrow and covered in snow. From the seat on it, one can guess how quiet and untouched this place is.
As can be seen in the second photograph of the three-photo package presented above, the ground around the lake is covered with thick white snow. Small plants and bushes are emerging from under the snow. Adding a touch of life to the scene. The shores of the lake are uneven and natural. Looking at this lake, you will realize that this is a simple mountain lake that is untouched by human activity. As I mentioned earlier, one of the most beautiful parts of the scene is the colorful prayer flags spread throughout the area. These flags are tied around the lake. These Perth flags add bright colors like red, blue, yellow, green and white to the white and gray environment.
If you look at the second photograph above, you will see all the beauty of nature in one place. Mountains, valleys, sky, clouds, snow, all these come together to create a perfect natural scene. In this natural scene, the sky above is cloudy and gray. Which adds a calm and slightly mysterious mood to the scene. Anyone who visits this place will feel relaxed and close to nature.
The Buddhist monastery in Tshoka is not only a religious place but also a place of great natural beauty. Along with this, the small lake near the monastery is a beautiful example of the quiet charm of nature. Its frozen surface, snowy atmosphere, colorful flags and calm atmosphere make it a truly magical place. Anyone who visits this place will feel close to nature and experience deep peace in their hearts.
