I hope you are all having fun. I am also having fun. The statue in these photographs is the tallest statue not only in India but in the whole world. These photographs are captured on camera during a visit to the STATUE OF UNITY. The STATUE OF UNITY is built at Sadhu Bet on the banks of Narmada River in Narmada District of Gujarat State which is located in India. The height of the statue of unity is 182 meters which is the tallest statue in the world. This statue is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who played a great role in uniting India. In whose memory this statue has been built.
I had a hard time creating the title of my post because I am sharing my post with the Pinmapple community which has a preference of place. Pranthu, the personality on whom I am making a post, is very respectful to me. So I replace the place name in the title for my post today with a person name. I hope the Pinmapple community can understand my dilemma.
Today's post is on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a fearless and iron man who played the biggest role in uniting India after independence. If anyone has the biggest share in the integrity of India, it belongs to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. After independence, India was divided into small kingdoms. In 1947, Purna Bharat was formed by uniting the small princely states. The Constitution of which came into effect on 26th January 1950. Coincidentally today 26th January 2023 it has been 74 years since the Constitution of India came into force. I am very happy to make today's post.
Statue of Unity is a beautiful place to visit in Gujarat. If you come to visit Gujarat, you must visit the statue of unity. Narmada district is surrounded by Vindhyachal and Satapuda mountain ranges. Between these Vindhyachal and Satapuda mountain ranges flows the sacred Narmada river which is the lifeline of Gujarat. Gujarat is living because of the water of Narmada river. This Sadhubet is located on the banks of Narmada river. A statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has been made on it. The statue of Sardar Sahib took about 6 years to build. Sardar Sarovar Dam is very close to this statue site which can be seen from the top of the statue.
If you want to visit the statue of unity, you need 2 days for that. Because statue of unity has many places to visit such as Valley of Flowers, Unity Glow Garden, Jungle Safari and Night Saw of Statue of Unity. The Valley of Flowers is another major attraction of this place, where you can find various types of colorful and fragrant flowers found in India and outside India. Apart from that, if you come to visit the statue of unity, you should definitely visit the jungle safari. You have to give half to half day for jungle safari only. Jungle safari is the third biggest attraction during the visit to statue of unity.
All this happened during the visit to the statue of unity in the surrounding places. When you visit the statue of Sardar Saheb in the statue of unity, there is a beautiful viewing gallery inside the statue at a height of 500 feet. In this gallery, many people can stand together and enjoy the wonderful view of the beautiful Vindhyachal and Satapuda mountain ranges and the Sardar Sarovar Dam. To visit this gallery you have to buy a ticket which is 380 rs per adult and 230 rs for children. Apart from that, there is also an arrangement of express tickets here, the rates of which are high. I don't have much information about that.
Visiting time in this temple is from 8 am to 6 pm. Apart from that, Statue of Unity is closed on Monday. So even if you make a mistake, do not come to visit here on Monday. Statue of Unity is very crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so according to me, if you want to visit here, then Tuesday to Friday would be the best time.
Apart from that, Statue of Unity has a large collection of written biographies of Sardar Sahib. In which Sardar Sahib, through his courage and determination, tied the Bagha desi kingdoms together and included them in the mainstream of India through his paintings and statues. Which was the main attraction for me. The coming generation will get inspiration to be like him by reading the stories of Sardar Sahib's life.
