Julley Everyone,
Starting this adventure out and sharing the moments from the lands unknown, from the places unknown, and from the corners unknown...
Woke up to this beautiful day out here today in the outskirts of Himalayas, away from the world, away from each and every single thing of the everyday world, Somewhere in the nature all alone and away from the houses and the cities. Here we were somewhere so deep inside in the most isolated locations around the valley unknown and so and so lost in this beautiful, magical Wonderland, somewhere between the two Himalayan mountain ranges, the Zanskar Himalayan mountain range, and the Ladakh Himalayan mountain range, even the roads they were not to the place, but made it all the way and few of these adventurous countless number of memories that I’m gonna share it with you guys through this post.
Reached in the lands Unknown, Drove all the way more than 600 km from Manali, Himachal Pradesh to Leh The lands beyond the Cold Himalayas desert, the lands where the Himalayas just end and starts it out to be the magical Cold Himalayan Desert. This was literally a whole lot of a different world that had no trees. No plants. Nothing but these sand dunes formed to mountains and the dry regions of the cold Himalayan desert and in winter season the same getting covered in a thick sheet of snow making this place not less than the winter heaven.
Here was the location on the blue point and we had to cover the distance as these few days of the October season, the October month was the time when the snow melts here in the Himalayas and in just no time in just any part of the day or any few days, only after this week, it might snow and the whole place would get covered with the thick sheet of snow throughout the year. Till now the all of the snow just gets melted because of the weather and now it was the time of a new fresh start of a new fresh season. There were certain corners where the Snow was still there, and the never-ending melting glaciers too, but all together my friends we made decision to explore this place during this time, and here is a quick GPS map of the location, exploring the valley beyond between the rivers and the two Himalayan mountain ranges.
Drove whole night for more than 600 km or reached beyond the Nubra Valley of Ladakh and made it all the way beyond the Himalayan mountain ranges, the Zanskar Range and the Ladakh Range, and we were somewhere in between the time of as far as the early morning. The light just came after driving through night throughout the night. We reached at this place somewhere around as far as I remember, it was 8:30 AM and that was the time the early morning sunshine and the whole moment kind of looked something just like this, not even a single car throughout the place we came along all the way, felt like that we were driving all along in the isolated terrains, but this morning we saw a group of bikers at this place and we were totally in a whole lot of a different new world, and that was the feeling I got when I reached this place.
The place not less than heaven. The beautiful views, We were at an altitude of more than 15,000 feet above the sea level and it was literally a whole lot of a different vibe that I got when I was at the place the sky was a bit cloudy as I was even a bit frightened about the sudden climate change as it might even snow, and the whole place would get covered under thick sheet of snow together, no houses, no villages. Nothing at all, and it was literally. The land totally isolated and away from the cities and houses. It was literally a very harsh region with Harsh climatic conditions. During the winter time, the temperature being as below as -20°C.
No Wi-Fi no network. Nothing at all. All that we had in our minds was just driving continuously throughout the road. Till the end it would take us exploring the beautiful valley. It had been more than three hours driving through the road continuously with capturing the beauty of these beautiful mountains, the beautiful corner and altogether, it was literally a whole lot of a different vibe, different place and different world. We were even a bit hungry, but all together can’t help. It was literally the isolated region had been more than somewhere around 11 o’clock when we reached at this place, saw these beautiful mountain ranges with the whole dry region.
And here we were getting the vibe that road is about to end, maybe there would be another trail or another road that would lead us to some other direction, but we decided to just make our own way beyond the place and Drive continuously till the road just ends and that was something that we decided, so we started our journey beyond the end point, and it was just a straight patch of the desert of cold Himalayan region.
The region being the cold Himalayan desert all because of the higher Himalayan mountain ranges, and that does not allow the monsoon winds to pass the place and due to high altitude and Harsh climatic and the lands above the non-tropical zone and the land above tree line is something that the trees and vegetation do not grow in this part of region.
And finally, we reached at the end point of the road, and we decided to park the car from here and explore the place, we spent somewhere around 2 1/2 hours, exploring the place beyond and altogether. It was literally whole lot of a beautiful day that we spent here in the outskirts between the two Himalayan mountain ranges, capturing as many photographs as I could because another thing that I noticed maybe because of the higher altitude place, the battery of my mobile phone was draining a lot. No Wi-Fi nothing at all, and we were literally even a bit scared about exploring the place unknown that had no name. Nothing at all the isolated regions and I’m gonna share my adventure beyond the place in my upcoming post, so stay tuned for the astonishing stories from the Himalayas. Do let me know my friends, the photographs you like the most in the comment section, and I would love to hear it from you.
