The never ending trails to the Sky...
Julley Everyone,
A beautiful day out here today in the Himalayas sharing the past experiences. The past adventures all the way from the Himalayas. As from the past few days. It has been the monsoon going on here in the Himalayas because of the unpredictable rains, adventures were a bit difficult to go on, so I thought why not to share the stories, the wonders that I just went on the different adventures all together with you guys and it was a beautiful story that I'm going to share with you guys through this post about wondering around the places beyond the last village Lahul and Spiti, towards the Lahul side.
The early morning start is something that would make us reach to the top of the mountain. So thankful for the roads that brought us here to the top of the world. I would say where we were at the moment above 15,000 feet altitude and still going on this is the Place beyond the last village of Lahul called Darcha. No houses no persons, no sight of a residential spots or anything else few of the tin like houses were built right next to the road that too all barren. Rightly it would be too as this was the place beyond the non-tropical zone even I would say harsh climatic conditions that we could even not spot the soil where the trees could grow because of the high altitude place and harsh climatic conditions. The place usually used to be covered with thick sheet of snow that lost to out the year and it is the only few days when the place accessible as you guys can clearly see the photograph in this you can see the top of the mountain and we were literally at the top just few minutes hike and we would be at the top of the mountain peak unknown.
The main problem over here it was because of the high altitude. There was altitude, sickness and altogether because of the low atmospheric pressure. It was hard to breathe. Even I felt a bit dizzy when I reached at the spot...
We were not sure about that where we were headed to all together. We just wanted to wonder around the beautiful place. Explore the surroundings nearby. There was this beautiful sky right above is followed by the beautiful mountain peaks nearby and the beautiful constructing road all together we were literally enjoying whole journey and I was taking as many photographs as a core of this beautiful place there was no Wi-Fi no cellular network and even at certain points the GPS off my mobile phone it was struggling.
For today, we want to reach at a mountain pass called Bara Lacha La Pass above 16000 ft. above the sea level.
And this was the road the street trail headed to the spot.
Here is a quick glimpse of the GPS Map Screenshot, and we were somewhere driving between the circle that I have marked in the picture.
We had been driving from the past 5 to 6 hours since we started our journey beyond a place called Keylong in Lahul and it was really a beautiful gateway and I was getting kind of feeling that we were getting closer to the higher Himalayas. The land beyond the spot where the Himalayas would just end up all together and then it would be the beginning of the cold himalayan desert because of the higher mountains. The other side of the Himalayas winds are blocked because of the higher amount pics and on the other side it is lush green area and on the other side. It is the cold Himalaya and desert portion.
There were these mountains that was so dry. Even a single rock would fall. It felt like that the mountain would collapse, as it felt like that the whole amount it was all loose because of the suit dry soil that the place had. Only at certain points, the vegetation that was so kind of look something just like this, there were these green plants not sure about that what they were, but they were so tough as so that they could which stand harsh climatic conditions and snow which lasts for more than half the time of the year.
We could even spot the mountain peak at the spot, where which was the portion of the never melting glaciers in the never melting mountain peaks. There was the snow through out the year as even it was the peak time of the summer when I went here at the place. Usually the snowfall even starts after the month of September at the place even if felt like that we were about to reach the place called Bara Lacha La Pass.
It felt like that more we were getting closer to the mountain. It was getting far and far away as this was the photograph that I captured before the photograph that I have shared above and the mountain now it was looking kind of closer but in the picture that I will be sharing next the mountain it look like that it was getting far and far away and that's the thing with the himalayan mountains that whenever even with my experience that I go closer to the mountain, it felt like that it is closed. When I cover the distance and it felt like that more we were getting closer to the mountain. When I cover the distance and start the journey start the adventure feels like that it's getting far and far away altogether. start the journey start the adventure feels like that it's getting far and far away altogether.
Somewhere after near about 30 minutes or so we reached at the spot where I saw few of the people they were standing at the spot maybe they found it a better spot and indeed so what is this a beautiful area to just relax and stop by S even it felt like that it was the same idea to just stop the car here as it was Johnny beyond and there were very few vehicles all around so it's always better to park our car or find a spot where there are other cars so in case of any need the persons can help each other because at any point any person can get altitude sickness and because of which the oxygen level get down in which causes serious problems caused by high altitude.
and then I got to know that the people they were stopped here to see this beautiful glacier lake which was just right next to the road the whole place it felt so dreaming all together at the moment kind of look something just like this.
The Beautiful Glecier Lake.
The Adventure Beyond.
Starting out on the same trail or the road I would say and in just no time, the mountain peak covered with snow that we were seen it all just went away in just a quick of a blink since returned on the other side of the mountain. Now the mountain peaks they were looking more magical more dramatic. It felt like that the rocks they were just made up of whole lot of different minerals altogether. Now the mountain peaks even they felt like that they were all formed of the course and by the small gravels.
I was continuously checking the altitude on my watch and we were at an altitude of more than 16,000 ft. Above the sea level, I was feeling a bit dizzy as previously mentioned but my local friends they told me to take deep breaths from the nose and then release it from the mouth that something really relaxed me. That was a tip that my friends gave me... All together it was really a whole lot of a different journey since we started our journey all the way and reached to this beautiful place Unknown somewhere between the portion that I have marked in the GPS map screenshot where we were covering the distance up.
And at the moment, another thing that I was really enjoying was that I was just looking at the clouds and the clouds they were just moving so fast as rightly they were just formed up at the mountain peaks covered with the snow, and they were just forming up from the particular mountain as it felt like that it was a volcano or something from where the clouds were forming up but as there was no volcano, but it was altogether the frozen glacier of the snow.
So my adventure kind of look something just like this, I have captured all of these photographs using my Apple iPhone 12 and then I have edited them using iPhone. Photo editor. Do let me know my friends, the portion of the adventure you like the most in the comment section, I would love to hear it from you.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas. ❤️
