Have you ever heard of Shortcuts maybe you have, but here I’m going to tell you that what does Shortcuts look like in the Himalayas!

A beautiful bright sunny day here we had in the Himalayas. What else what we want except a sunny day usually when we are just waiting to see the sun as if all the clouds and the snow has just gone away now well coming this spring something just like this was this beautiful morning today here when I was in the Pangan Road.
The Pangan Road
Just around 13 km. Before Manali, there is a road to Hindon village called Pangan But for our today’s expedition, our idea was not to go till the village rather just go on the road and then just follow up and then catch a trail to the Patlikuhal village.
Usually it would be the whole loop but we today I will be taking shortcuts not sure about the train but I saw that there would be something else so just wondering around in this beautiful place and the road look something. Just like this the conditions they were not quite cold as there were landslides everywhere wherever we could see there were these landslides all around.
After quite awhile, I finally reached at this particular spot where I saw this particular mountain by the side of the road, Rocky Mountain perfect for rock climbing and for a while. I had a thought why not just go someday and rock climb into rock climbing in this beautiful mountain as the whole portion looked really very good. There were various places where we could easily climb up and make a journey till the top by rock climbing.
But climbing the rock just by the side of the road I don’t think it’s a good idea but maybe there was very less traffic in this Road and the road. Just look like a Trail like a pathway, a small pathway, but it was the main road to the village.
We had been hiking for more than two hours. When we reached at this particular spot. I would call it a hike. As today. We were not climbing the mountain up, but we were in the mountain itself, walking by the road and enjoying the moment just wandering around the nowhere wonderland.
The Shortcut Trail to Patlikuhal
After a while we reached at this particular spot, where we saw that there was this pathway going all the way to the main road in Patlikuhal, which would save a lot of time of hours rather than just doing the whole circle and going to Patlikuhal and then coming to the same spot closer to the highway it would take a lot of time. Instead we had a thought about taking the Shortcuts. Usually the shortcuts they were the ancient trailsthat the people used to but now they have been properly formed into the Pathways.
Right in front of us whatever we could see looked something. Just like this a peaceful plum orchard. They were trees all around beautiful view the sunny sky and the sky as blue as the ocean. It was really a wonderful moment guys and I was really very happy to be outdoors wondering if not the proper mountains, somewhere, exploring different places, different trails all around and capturing the beauty of it.
From here we could see Patlikuhal Village right below us and we had to descend the whole mountain in order to reach closer to the highway. This particular shortcut would save around one hour of descending down by the side of the road of hours and saving time and effort. So I think it was totally worth moment. Taking shortcuts had in the mountains.
Finally, what is sending more than 17 minutes we finally reached the main highway and the whole moment look something just like now at this particular time we were planning to just hike around another mountain. That was on the opposite side to just capture the view of Patlikuhal. As we had saved quite a lot of time and as I say adventure should not never stop so we just without having I thought more about we just thought let’s go and explore this beautiful place and wonder around so without thinking much. We also decided and started with a journey.
This time the Trail was on the other side and the whole Parth. I look something just like this it was not well suited for the cars rather as I saw a car parked nearby so maybe the people who would usually come to this particular place in their car. They just park their vehicle over there and then they just hike around and reach the top.
I also saw a rock where someone has drew this beautiful artwork. It was an eye in the rock. It looked quite different quite unique quite attractive so without thinking much I also took a picture of it.
Guys, finally, we reached at the top hiking again on the opposite side of the mountain where we could see the whole village. It took us more than 23 minutes. I would say approximately when we started from the main highway as the tail let us tell the top it was quite different moment as just wondering by, from one side of the valley to another side, crossing the bridge and be on the other side and other top of the mountain through the trail is taking shortcuts all around.
