A dreamy place that one could imagine!
In his dreams. And yes a place like this Existed.
Somewhere in the heavens of the Himalayas a place like this
Existed!
Julley Everyone.
So here we begin!
We were in Sainj Valley of Himachal Pradesh and we got to know that there is a dreamy grassland nearby. Somewhere hidden in the valleys of Tirthan.
The road to this place was extremely next level. When ever a car passes by the road the whole dust used to blow in the air like as seen in the adventurous movies. The main reason that the roads were in such a mess was that these roads were recently constructed and as per the rains of the last year caused a huge damage to this place. Even lot of people lost their homes due to the flood and since that this area is slowly recovering and the roads are being re constructed.
We had to go to the top of the mountain and so was the roads. Quite steep! With such and extraordinarily views of the peaks. Every single turn showed us a different picturesque view of the place and we were super excited to visit the top and see the lush green meadows of in the Himalayas.
The mainly traffic that we found throughout our journey was this traffic of the Sheep. A traffic that did not bothered us but kept us engaging, looking out through the windows and all the sheeps and goats with their maeehh meehh sound! Such a lovely moment to remember guys.
Life at his place was so pure and realistic as usually the villages used to grow their own fruits and vegetables and live the healthy way. I even saw that most of the people were busy with something the women of the houses were either busy knitting on a wooden machine and the mens of the houses were busy with farming and other works. They were even helping each other so that the work could be easily done.
This place is known as Shanghar. Around 15 Kms from Sainj in Himachal Pradesh. The houses were quite secluded at this place and it was Shanghar village, had around 10-20 houses in the village.
It took us around 30-40 minutes in order to reach till the top and we parked our car at a point.
We were finally at our destination. We were about more than 2000m above the sea level. The main gate to the meadows and Shanghar village looked like this.
Yet a quick short trail to cover up, that led us to the hidden Iceland of the Himalayas. Usually in winters this place is covered under a thick blanket of snow and there are just the few months the grassland is at its greenest.
We were truly grateful to see such and extraordinary place and capture it in our memories and camera so that we could even share it with the masses.
As the greenland is not green! So is the Iceland. But this hidden gem in the Himalayas had the both.
There were various Sheeps gazing depicting the purity of life. It was such a peaceful place that no one would have ever thought of. Hidden somewhere In the middle of the valley.
We stayed at the place for a while and decided to take a quick walk to the Shanghar village and see the magical life over there.
There was no road to the village except the road that was till the meadows and beyond that just a single trail that led to this magical village.
The farms at this place looked something like this.
The Shanghar Temple
The end point of the trail and Village.
A traditional Himalayan house about 300 year old.
Here are few of the Photographs of the Place from different angles and locations and even of different times, So that you guys could get a true picture of this paradise.
So thats all for today guys. I hope you liked it.

Love from the Himalayas.❤️
