I always like to see different locations in Kharkiv or outside of the city. I prefer exploring suburban areas because there is so much to learn about the culture and reality of the country. City life and country life is very different from each other especially when you wanna experience the beauty of nature and want to be in calm quiet places, suburban areas are the best. There are some unusual locations in Kharkiv, only locals are aware of such locations.
Summer is the best time to find new places and do activities. I am not a hiking person because of health issues so I prefer mostly resort type of complex or country houses. During summer, country houses and cottages do huge business here. Normally on weekends or any kind of holiday, Ukrainians leave the city and decide to spend their time in country houses.
This summer I have found many cool resorts, bars, and summer houses. They are located far away from the city, some are situated in village areas. They provide all modern facilities and if anyone wants to stay at night, they can book rooms too.
This is Pine bar, swimming pool and farmhouse, a very small complex with few cottages inside the farm. The location is known as Коробовы Хутора (Korovobi Khutora) and the resort is situated on the highway between Zadonetsky and Koropovo, near National Nature Forest called Gomolshanskiy Forests. The official name is СОСНОВЫЙ БОР which express guest house and farmhouse.
It looks more like a highway restaurant or motel or farm to me, I don't know why they call it a resort/hotel. Probably they don't consider the main road as a highway which is known as Kurortna Street, because the location is more likely inside the village called Zadonetskoe and situated in Korobovy Farms.
Hard to define the Geo Location... It's complicated...

Very calm and quiet location and hard to find on the map. The forest you are seeing in National Nature Forest...

We were on a road trip and were going to explore National Nature Forest. The location was discovered by a Ukrainian family so we all decided to spend our time in the forest. So on our way, we wanted to eat something and have some drinks so we stopped at Pine bar (Sosnovy Bor) for a while.
After crossing the door, the first thing I have noticed was some cottages, shaded spaces, and big swimming people. Kids were swimming and people were just chilling and enjoying the pool party. It was crazy honestly because loud music and dance somehow were not matched with the location but who cares.
The complex area is very small and private because of the pool. The entire area was more likely a recreational space rather than a resort complex. There was a kids zone with a small pool where kids were enjoying their time. From far away small hills can be seen also someone can experience the beautiful hills and forest from the swimming pool.
There were sitting arrangements near the pool, so after swimming, you can sit in these areas and can enjoy your drink. They also provide lunch but the price is expensive. We were in a rush so we didn't go to their residential space. It was separated from the public zone which I like the most. It is the best idea to keep the public zone and private zone separated. They have both European and Traditional Home Cuisine.
We all have ordered drinks and spend half an hour there...
From the road, the resort/motel looks like this, the other side is a forest area.
It's a nice location to spend time with friends and family. Especially if you have kids, this is the place for you. We just stopped there for a break to have drinks. Later we started our drive to our desired destination.
I will go to the bar once again for the whole weekend...
