Today friends we are in Mafra, a town that is located on the outskirts of the city of Lisbon, Portugal; A place surrounded by nature and specifically we are in the Tapada de Mafra a green area where a variety of activities are performed, hiking, rural tourism, guided tours to learn about the fauna and flora of the place, commonly schools performing visit the place, as it is the perfect place where children can learn, also the area has a controlled hunting area in a height of the year, but do not worry the area is secluded by security control, at the time we visited, we did not know that was the hunting area and we heard the distant shots was scary at first, since we did not know that this activity was performed; to enter the park has a cost of 5 € the ticket to walk in the park, you will also have to inform what walk you will do because in a huge place and easy to get lost in case you skip the rules and guide signs of your walk.

Hoy amigos nos encontramos en Mafra, una localidad que se encuentra situada en las afueras de la ciudad de Lisboa, Portugal; Un lugar rodeado de la naturaleza, específicamente nos encontramos en la Tapada de Mafra un área verde donde se realizan variedades de actividades, caminatas, turismo rural, visitas guiadas para conocer la fauna y flora del lugar, comúnmente te sueles encontrar escuelas realizando visita del lugar, ya que es el sitio perfecto donde los niños pueden aprender, también la zona cuenta con una zona de caza controlada en una altura del año, pero no se preocupen la zona se encuentra apartada por control de seguridad, en el momento que lo visitamos, no sabíamos que se encontraba la zona de caza y escuchábamos los disparos lejanos fue aterrador al principio, ya que no sabíamos que se realizaba esa actividad; para entrar en el parque tiene un costo de 5 € el ticket de caminata en el parque, también tendrás que informar que paseo realizaras porque en un lugar enorme y fácil de perderse en caso de que te saltes las reglas y los letreros guía de tu paseo.
The fauna of this park is very diverse, we have from wild boars, foxes, deer, the weasel and the genet; we can also find different amphibians in some areas such as the salamander, there are also small reptiles such as the gecko, the bocage lizard, turtles and the horned viper, a venomous but not aggressive species. Also keep in mind that these animals are in their habitat, so it does not mean that you will see them with luck you can run into one, I was lucky enough to see a mother boar with her children that is not usually common to see and of course deer is something that abounds in the park.

La fauna de este parque es muy diverso, tenemos desde jabalís, zorros, ciervos, la comadreja y la gineta; también podemos encontrarnos con diferentes anfibios en algunas zonas como la salamandra, también hay pequeños reptiles como la salamanquesa, el lagarto de bocage, tortugas y la víbora cornuda, una especie venenosa pero no agresiva. También tengamos en cuenta que estos animales están en su hábitat, por lo cual no quiere decir que los verás con suerte puedes toparte con alguno, yo tuve la suerte de ver una mamá jabalí con sus hijos que no suele ser común de ver y por supuestos venados es algo que abunda en el parque.
In this park you can find yourself with many pines, ferns, the oak, also eucalyptus trees abound a lot, in one area you will find yourself surrounded with only eucalyptus trees around you. Other trees found in the Tapada are poplar, sycamore, willow and ash. It is important to inform that due to global warming this park is one of the most affected areas that usually suffers from fires, affecting the fauna, flora and all the biodiversity that surrounds it.

En este parque puedes encontrarte con muchos pinos, helechos, el roble, también abunda mucho los eucaliptos, en una zona te encontrarás rodeado con solo eucaliptos a tu alrededor. Otros árboles que se encuentran en la Tapada son el álamo, el sicomoro, el sauce y el fresno. Es importante informar que por el calentamiento global este parque es uno de los puntos más afectados que suele sufrir de incendios, afectando la fauna, la flora y toda la biodiversidad que lo rodea.
Everything around us has a history and without a doubt this park has a great history that surrounds them. Remember when I informed you in the activities that are carried out there is hunting? Well, that activity has been maintained since 1747 because King João Francisco António José Bento Bernardo was the breeder of this park that used it to perform one of his vocation which was hunting, so the royals spent their afternoons and in the walk we can find some structures that were made at that time..

Todo lo que nos rodea tiene una historia y sin duda alguna, este parque tiene una gran historia que lo rodea. ¿Recuerdan cuando les informe en las actividades que se realizan existe la caza? Bueno, esa actividad se ha mantenido desde 1747 porque el rey João Francisco António José Bento Bernardo fue el creador de este parque que lo utilizaba para realizar una de su vocación que era la caza, por lo cual la realeza pasaba sus tardes y en el paseo podemos encontrarnos con algunas estructuras que fueron realizados en esa época.
The hike that was done was long, it was undoubtedly exhausting, I was walking for almost 4 hours without stopping only a 30 minute break to recover energy with lunch, but otherwise it is walking without stopping, because when you enter the circuit of the hike you have no shortcut or escape just finish it or return by the same as you entered so if you do not want such an intense walk, you have other shorter hikes like the blue one that has a duration of 1-2 h and don't worry you will also run into animals, almost always there are deer at the exit of the park, as they are rebellious and always try to escape.

La caminata que fue realizada fue larga, es sin duda agotadora, estuve caminando al rededor de casi 4 horas sin parar solo una pausa de 30 minutos para recuperar energía con el almuerzo, pero de resto es caminar sin parar, ya que cuando te adentras al circuito de la caminata no tienes un atajo o escapatoria simplemente terminarlo o volver por el mismo camino que te adentraste por lo cual si no quieres una caminata tan intensa, tienes otras caminatas más cortas como la azul que tiene una duración de 1-2 h y no te preocupes también te toparás con animales, casi siempre suelen estar los ciervos en la salida del parque, ya que son rebeldes y siempre intentan escapar.
The last photo has a very funny anecdote of a young deer that got trapped in a place but as it entered it managed to get out, I named it after the famous Disney movie Bambi, one of the movies that has marked the childhood of many of my generation and others.
La última foto tiene una anécdota muy graciosa de un ciervo joven que se quedó atrapado en un lugar, pero así como entro logro salir, lo bautice como la famosa película de Disney que es Bambi una de las películas que ha marcado la infancia de muchos de mi generación y otras.
