Today I want to share with you a special experience for people who love nature and immerse ourselves in it, of course I'm talking about Sintra, but this place is huge to specify we are in the lung of Sintra where there is no city nearby only nature, animals and some other homes in the distance. I love that it is one of my favorite places in Lisbon, I will always recommend people to visit it. It is rich in history and nature abounds in the place, being a super important oxygen place for our city along with Monsanto. One of the things we should know is that Sintra's natural park is huge. There are many routes you can choose. In my case I prefer to visit the Ruta da Pedra, it is a lookout on the top of a mountain.

Hoy quiero compartirles una experiencia especial para las personas que adoramos la naturaleza y sumergirnos a ella, por supuesto que hablo de Sintra, pero este lugar es enorme para especificar estamos en el pulmón de Sintra donde no hay ciudad cercana solo la naturaleza los animales y algunos que otros hogares a distancia. Adoro que es uno de mis lugares favoritos de Lisboa, siempre recomendaré a las personas visitarlo. Es rica en historia y abunda la naturaleza en el lugar, siendo un lugar de oxígeno superimportante para nuestra ciudad junto con Monsanto. Una de las cosas que debemos saber es que el parque natural de Sintra es enorme. Hay muchas rutas que puedes escoger. En mi caso prefiero visitar la ruta da Pedra se trata de un mirado en la cima de una montaña.

FIRST IMPACT🌄
One of the things I managed to notice is that, the closer I got to the entrance of the place, the fewer houses were close to the area. It was a very small-town area, which is a nice little touch when you're looking to escape the noise of the city. The entrance to the park is a high road as you begin to climb up the mountain surrounded by flowering trees and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and with a warning sign indicating that it is a deer area so don't be surprised if you come across a resident of the area, but unfortunately I didn't come across any.

PRIMER IMPACTO.🌄
Una de las cosas que logré notar es que, mientras más me acercaba a la entrada del lugar, se reducían las viviendas cerca de la zona. Era una zona muy pueblerina, lo cual es un pequeño toque especial cuando estás en busca de escapar del ruido de la ciudad. La entrada del parque es un camino alto, ya que comenzaremos a subir la montaña rodeada de árboles flores y con hermosas vistas de las montañas alrededor y con un letrero de aviso indicando que es una zona de venados por lo cual no te sorprenda si te encuentras con un residente del lugar, pero lastimosamente no me encontré ninguno.

AT THE VIEWPOINT OF PEDRA.🌅
After a walk of about 3 km up the mountain, we have arrived at the entrance of our destination. It is time to explore it. At the beginning we can notice some guide signs that will help us to reach our destination. Although the climb is steep and you get twice as tired, it is worth it because we will have a beautiful view where you can photograph the sea and the distant city accompanied by mountains in the background. You can also visualize in the distance the Pena Palace, one of the most important tourist attractions of Lisbon, and is located at the highest point of our city. Also in the viewpoint there is a security watchtower of the forest, so if any accident happens, you will have a quick support.

EN EL MIRADOR DE PEDRA.🌅
Luego de una caminata de alrededor de 3 km subiendo la montaña, hemos llegado a la entrada de nuestro destino. Es momento de explorarla. Al inicio podemos notar unos letreros guías que nos ayudarán a llegar a nuestro destino. A pesar de que la subida es empinada y te cansas el doble, vale la pena porque tendremos una hermosa vista donde podrás fotografiar el mar y la ciudad lejana acompañada con montañas de fondo. También puedes visualizar a lo lejos el Palacio da Pena, uno de los puntos turísticos más importantes de Lisboa, y se encuentra en el punto más alto de nuestra ciudad. También en el mirador se encuentra una torre vigila de seguridad del bosque, por lo cual, si algún accidente sucede, tendrás un apoyo rápido.
ABANDONED MINE.🕳️
In front of the Ruta da Pedra, we have another road that goes to a convent, but it was miles away, so I made the decision to climb the mountain to visit another viewpoint, but it is smaller. By surprise I found an abandoned mine on the road and it had an open door. I was very curious to go inside and explore it, but for safety reasons I only managed to photograph the entrance of the mine.

MINA ABANDONADA.🕳️
Frente a la ruta da Pedra, tenemos otro camino que se dirige a un convento, pero estaba a kilómetros de distancia, así que tomé la decisión de subir la montaña para visitar otro mirador, pero es más pequeño. Por sorpresa me encontré una mina abandonada en el camino y tenía la puerta abierta. Me comió mucho la curiosidad por entrar y explorarla por dentro, pero por seguridad solo logré fotografiar la entrada de la mina.
