I want to share our road trip with our friends and neighbors last year in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan or DRT for short.
Doña Remedios Trinidad is known for "Bulacan's Last Frontier" because of natural environment and as it is the least travelled town in the province.
Few people didn't notice the hidden beauty of the province of Bulacan so that's why I want you to take a look some of those.
That day, we just went on 3 tourist locations in DRT but there are many more and I will list down all of that later.
Before going to these locations, we stopped-by in the middle of the long cemented road surrounded by trees. What a refreshing air and cool breeze when you are there. The leaves and branches of the trees swaying and dancing with the wind. We took some pictures on that place.
Next, first tourist attraction, we went to the "DRT SUNRISE FARM".
It is located in SITIO 24 SAPANG BULAK DOÑA REMEDIOS TRINIDAD BULACAN. This is a place where you can find beautiful flowering plants mainly sunflower. Here, there is an entrance fee of Php 50/head ($1) only to enjoy the scenery. If you want a tour guide, you will just pay Php 50 ($1) also. Perfect for tourist/foreigner friends who want to enjoy their getaway.
After that, we went to a shortcut place and took some pictures while on the road. Just want to feel the fresh air and breathtaking view from the mountains.
After some stops, next destination is the "MALANGAAN RIVER CAVE AND SPRING". Malangaan Cave and Spring is located in the municipality of San Rafael, Bulacan (boundary of DRT). It is a large cave untouched by quarry operations. Malangaan is also known for its spring water. A lot of people go swim here during the summer season because it’s free.
Make sure to take precautions when you do your cave spelunking and avoid writing anything on the rock formations or throwing any form of trash in the area.
Aside from Malangaan Cave, you can jump start and end your trek at Malangaan Spring where you can swim in the natural cold spring waters. Most of the time, Malangaan Spring is visited by locals who live in the nearby area and is usually full during the weekends.
Last stop, since it rained that afternoon and wanted some relaxation of our feet, we went to "DREAMLAND VIEW".
It has a saying - Dreamland View "Where Dreams are Made". Yeah, I feel that I am dreaming because I just saw all beautiful scenery at that moment.
Here also have an entrance fee of just Php 50/head ($1). Dreamland View is located at Sitio Parungao, Sapang Bulak, DRT.
It is nice finding that place where you can just go and relax. We enjoy the serene and scenic farm view and laid-back getaway bond experience with our family and friends!
As long as we want to visit more tourist locations here in DRT, we don't have enough time to do it. So, we decided to call it a day and just make a wishlist for our next destination where all are available again.
