Hello my friends on Hive, especially for my friends in hope you have a great weekend with the people you love. Happy to share stories with all of you on this great platform. This time I want to share a story about my very enjoyable Saturday night. Before that I have to thank my lovely wife, for choosing a place for our dinner this weekend to be so beautiful. After three days ago I had to leave my family because I was busy with traveling out of town to perform at a music concert with my duo group RIALDONI. I left my family for a few nights, because the venue was out of town.
My performance at a music concert out of town
I am grateful that my show went successfully. Of course this success is due to the support of my wife who always gives encouragement and inspiration in my music career.
As a form of my gratitude to my wife, I invited her to have dinner at a place she wanted. And he chooses our own place to eat at a really cool cafe in our city. This café is called "Le Rasa" located in downtown Banda Aceh, Aceh Province, Indonesia. It only takes about 15 minutes from our house.
For me this café is the most appropriate place for us to enjoy togetherness this Saturday night. With a blend of classic-modern concepts it looks so coherent and charming. The basic form of this café is a classic Acehnese traditional house. The shape is very unique and distinctive, the shape is like a house on stilts, the basic construction of the building is made of wood and is supported by large wooden beams as the main pillar which is usually the distance from the ground to the floor of the house about 2.5 meters.

The purpose of our ancestors to make the shape of the house like this is to avoid floods and the threat of wild animals. Under the house, Aceh's traditional house can also be used as a place to store agricultural products or fishing products because some work as farmers and fishermen who also store fishing equipment such as nets and nets under the house. And under the house it is also a place for parents' activities to become a place for children to play. I remember my childhood when I told this, what a beautiful childhood.
Today's traditional Aceh house

Over time, Aceh's traditional houses have rarely been seen after the Earthquake and Tsunami disaster hit Aceh Province in 2004. Because most of Aceh's traditional houses in the interior coastal areas have been hit by the Tsunami waves. Some houses The only ones left were in areas not affected by the Tsunami.

When restarting construction, most Acehnese chose to build concrete houses made of sand and cement with a more modern concept. That is why today's generation is very far from the traditional and cultural identities of the past.
With a café with the shape of a traditional Aceh house like this, of course young people don't forget their identity as Acehnese. The modern concept combined with the classic concept in this cafe has also made it more liked by many visitors. Decorated with bright lights, antique ornaments with artistic value. Anyone who is here certainly feels very comfortable and feels at home relaxing for a long time. I have to take my hat off to the people behind this concept.
At this "Le Rasa" café we can order seats upstairs or under the house. The food and drink menu provided here is also very diverse. We chose to order rice with spicy fried chicken and iced tea and extra coffee latte to end our dinner.
