Today we had quite an exciting day. Unfortunately, we could not really go snorkeling due to stormy weather, so we thought about climbing to the viewpoint John Suwan and shoot a few breathtaking photos there.
With the cab which was quite cheap directly from the hotel for 50 baht we went straight to the viewpoint. Claire

heute hatten wir einen recht aufregenden Tag. Leider konnten wir aufgrund stürmischen Wetters nicht wirklich schnorcheln gehen daher haben wir uns überlegt auf den Viewpoint John Suwan zu klettern und dort ein paar atemberaubende Fotos zu schießen.
Mit dem Taxi welches direkt vom Hotel für 50 Baht recht günstig war sind wir straight zum Aussichtspunkt gefahren. Claire
John Suwan Viewpoint
At the top of the entrance area of the viewpoint we walked along a small narrow path with extensive climbing skills over large stones, palm trees and uneven areas to finally get the breathtaking view over the south side of Ko Tao. A phenomenal view. On the photos you can see quite well that the boats were all parked near the coast. Currently there is a big warning for the open sea. Boats and ferries remain at anchor.
Oben am Eingangsbereich des Viewpoints angekommen sind wir dann einen kleinen schmalen Pfad mit ausgiebigen Kletterkünsten über große Steine, Palmen und unebenen Bereichen entlang gelaufen um dann schlussendlich den atemberaubenden View über die Südseite von Ko Tao zu bekommen. Eine phänomenale Aussicht. Auf den Fotos sieht man ganz gut das die Boote alle in Küstennähe geparkt waren. Aktuell gibt es eine große Warnung für das offene Meer. Boote und Fähren bleiben als am Anker.
Shark Bay
Another great beach is Shark Bay with a quite posh hotel complex adjacent. The beach is complete fine sand and the visitors or hotel guests can enjoy the afternoon on really comfortable loungers and relax.
Ein weiterer toller Strand ist der Shark Bay mit einem recht nobler Hotelanlage anliegend. Der Strand ist kompletter feiner Sand und die Besucher oder Hotelgäste können sich auf wirklich bequemen Liegen den nachmittag köstlich versorgen lassen und entspannen.
