Mendale is a village in Aceh Tengah Regency, this village is quite famous because it produces a lot of natural tourist destinations, and in my opinion this is one of the villages that should not be missed when we are on vacation in Takengon city,his village is also quite close to the center of Takengon city, if I'm not mistaken the distance is only about 3 kilometers, the natural scenery offered by this village is also very amazing such as views of the mountains and tawar sea
However, this village was also affected by the Aceh floods 4 months ago, there were many damaged areas, even some tourist destinations were damaged and even disappeared. And now I will share my experience when visiting one of the quite popular natural tourist destinations in the village called Gele Mandale.
If you look at it visually, this tourist spot is in a very strategic location, namely at the foot of the mountains and on the edge of the tawar sea.
This tourist spot is also located right on the edge of the highway, so anyone who passes this road will definitely be able to easily find this place.From the parking area we can already see how quiet this place is, shady trees provide a natural roof for shade, chairs are neatly lined up there so that visitors can rest while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery
I don't know when this tourist destination was established, but I think this tourist spot has been around for quite a long time, even on my first visit to Takengon city several years ago, this tourist spot was already there.
From the side of the road, this tourist spot looks very small and all you can see is a hut and a few chairs, but it turns out that this tourist spot is quite large, but the area is on the edge of the tawar sea and lowlands so it cannot be seen from the main road.
There are four chairs in the main area and these chairs also face the tawar sea, visitors who come to this place will definitely be curious about this place, and I also felt the same thing at that time. I like this place, every thing it offers makes me feel at home here for a long time.
In the lower area there are also lots of chairs and huts, and there are also decorations on the fence that look like natural rock cliffs, on the cliff part there are also several artistically arranged stones and several ornamental plants and colorful flowers, of course this looks very unique and is a beautiful combination of natural scenery and artificial decorations.
And now look at the view in the freshwater sea, there are lots of floating net cage areas, but what is even more interesting is that huts are also built on top of the floating net cages, so that fish farmers can rest and stay there.
According to the information I received, the fish cultivated in floating nets generally focus on freshwater fish such as pomfret, tilapia and also freshwater shrimp.
In essence,this place is one of the tourist destinations that should not be missed when we are on holiday in the city of Takengon, there are many interesting things offered by this place which are related to happiness and satisfaction.
