In this post, I will share my experience during a long journey from Aceh Tamiang to Bireuen City. On this trip, I also passed through an alternative route that connects Lhokseumawe City with the Krueng Mane area, known as the Elak Road. The reason I always choose this route is because the distance is shorter and it helps me avoid traffic jams. However, something unexpected happened — heavy rain suddenly poured down, forcing me to stop for a while and take shelter under an abandoned shop.
The rain fell very heavily which made the surrounding atmosphere feel cold and humid, but luckily I still had plenty of time to arrive in Bireuen city before night fell. The rain didn't last too long so I didn't waste much time, as soon as the rain stopped I immediately continued my journey.
When I entered the alternative route, I suddenly saw a very rare sight — a rainbow appeared right in front of me. When I arrived at a bridge, I took the time to stop for a moment.
We can see that the road is still wet from rainwater, in conditions like this I was forced to slow down my motorbike because it was very slippery. I took a moment to rest on the bridge while enjoying the beautiful scenery below it, unlike most bridges, under this bridge was not a river but a village road that looked quite straight.
And this is also a reason why I really like passing through this road, on this road I can see natural scenery that is still so natural with a very wide expanse of forest. The tranquility of nature coupled with the coolness of the cold air due to the rain makes me remember a cup of coffee, maybe that will add to the composition to feel more calming.
One thing that really surprised me was that the view of the rainbow became more and more visible, and the location of the rainbow was also in the same direction as the road I was passing, with curiosity and full of imagination I started chasing the rainbow.
The view of this rainbow will be much more beautiful if seen directly, to be able to capture this view I had to climb a hill on the side of the road. I don't remember how long I spent just enjoying this beautiful view, but honestly it was very satisfying.
After being satisfied with enjoying this view, I immediately continued my journey. Along the roadside, I could also see a beautiful view of the vast expanse of rice fields,of course, this view is very beautiful to see in the afternoon sun. Actually, there are many things that can be done at these moments, especially if we travel with friends, we can tell stories or listen to stories while being accompanied by the beautiful natural scenery before our eyes.
