In this post, I will share my experience while visiting and exploring Idi Reyeok Merdeka Square, this place is one of the centers of public activities and also a place to hold various government events, but because this place is very spacious and clean, the local community also often uses this place as a place for relaxing recreation.
This place is also right on the edge of the main road so we can easily find it and access to here is also very easy, here also various big events are often held, one of which is the night market.
This is a view that I took right below the East Aceh regent's office, this is a hilly area so from here I can see the natural scenery with a wider and clearer view, there are several natural tourist destinations in this area and all of them are very interesting to visit
In this area we can also see the view of Merdeka Square Idi Rayeok, and there we can also see various interesting facilities such as rock climbing, running arena and soccer field, if we look at this area on Google Maps then this area is very large,there are so many areas that can be visited but I didn't dare to do it and at that time I only explored the main area.
I am very curious about rock climbing, I often see it but I have never tried it. I saw that there were two rock climbing areas in this area and that made me interested in trying it, but it was very unfortunate that at that time the rock climbing area was closed.
And this is a view of the night market area that was established around the Idi Rayeok Merdeka Square, it looks like there are lots of exciting rides there such as Ferris Wheel, pirate ship, mini rail train, big swing, the night market rides are very popular with many small children because this is like heaven for them, they can try various exciting rides here as much as they like. In addition, at the night market there are also culinary tours that sell various unique foods and fresh drinks, and this ride is also very popular with mothers because here they also sell clothes & accessories such as clothes, t-shirts, pants, watches, and cheap knick-knacks
And this is what a building on the edge of Idi Rayeok's Merdeka Square looks like. I don't know its primary function, but I saw a lot of people there, presumably resting and taking shelter. The building also has a unique shape, it's not too large but is quite long,and facing the square.
And this is the appearance of the Merdeka Square in Idi Rayeok, this field is an important area for holding government events such as the Indonesian independence ceremony, this field is also filled with very healthy and well-maintained grass, as far as the eye can see I don't see any plastic waste scattered here which indicates how important this field is.
