My second day at Nainital with my family was filled with even more excitement and exploration than the first day. We started our day by visiting Raj Bhavan, a place that had been closed to tourists for some time due to past incidents of misbehaviour.
The guide took us inside the hall and shared the rich history and stories behind the place. We were amazed by the beautiful architecture, the ornate decorations, and the historical artifacts on display. It truly felt like we were stepping into a royal Buckingham Palace, with Queen Elizabeth's Medals, a stunning glass diamond chandelier, and a grand ballroom where ball dances used to take place.
As we continued our journey, we visited the famous tree from the movie "Koi Mil Gaya", where Jaadu met Rohit. It was a surreal experience to see a piece of Bollywood history in person. We then made our way to the Suicide point, Lovers point, and at last Naini Peak point, where we were treated to a breathtaking view of the Naini lake and the surrounding mountains. The beauty of nature was truly awe-inspiring.
Our adventure didn't stop there. We climbed rocks to reach the Woodland Waterfall, where we were mesmerized by the sight and sound of water flowing from the mountains. We then tried zip lining at Sariya Tal Flying Jet Adventure, soaring above the lake and feeling the rush of adrenaline. It was an exhilarating experience that we will never forget.
One of the most spiritual moments of our day was visiting Kainchi Dham and the Baba Neem Karoli Temple. Legends like Steve Jobs when he was 18 visited here and became the Founder and CEO of Apple few years later. Mark Zuckerberg also visited here when Facebook was facing tough times. Other famous personalities like Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Julia Roberts also visited here.
The aura of positivity and devotion in the air was palpable, and we felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over us. It was inspiring to see people completely immersed in their faith, seeking blessings and solace in the presence of Neem Karoli Baba.
As we returned to our hotel in Nainital, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the incredible experiences we had on our second day. From exploring historical landmarks to connecting with nature and spirituality, our journey in Nainital was truly unforgettable. We can't wait to see what the next day has in store for us.
