How to get to Carnaza Eco Park?
The journey to Carnaza Island is part of the adventure. Here are the steps to get there:
1. Take a bus from Cebu North Bus Terminal
Look for the bus going to Maya-Bagay or Daanbantayan. Inform the conductor that you will be getting off at Tapilon Port. The fare is ₱212 for the airconditioned bus and the trip will take four hours.
2. From Tapilon Port, take a boat to Carnaza Island
The fare is ₱150 per trip, and the flight takes two hours. If you want a more comfortable trip for the group, you can rent a pump boat that costs ₱7,000 roundtrip for 25-30 people.
Things To Know Before Going
Make a Review or Make a Reservation
Carnaza Eco Park has limited wooden tents for rent for ₱200 per night, which is good for two people. You can also bring your own tent and pay ₱50 for the space. For larger groups, there are rooms for ₱2,900 for four people.
Bring Your Own Food and Drinks
Although there is food on the island, it often runs out especially when there are many tourists. Soft drinks are ₱100 for 1.75L and ₱50 for a liter of water. It will save more if you bring your own food and have it cooked for ₱300, plus a ₱50 service charge.
Limited Signal
This is the perfect place for those who want to take a break from social media. While there is signal in some places, it is still better to focus on the beauty of the island.
Bring a Powerbank and a Full Battery
There are charging stations on the island but it's better to bring a powerbank to make the most of every moment.
The Beauty of Carnaza Eco Park
When you arrive on the island, you will immediately feel the peaceful atmosphere. The sea is crystal clear, and the sand is very white. In the Eco Park, there is Skull Cove, a unique destination with unique beauty. The place is full of wooden tents and there is a camping ground for those who want to bring their own tent.
One of the best things about the island is the so-called “disconnect to reconnect” moment. As the signal is limited, it becomes easier to connect with nature and your companions.

My Personal Experience
Carnaza Island has a special place in my heart because it is my father's hometown. Despite being tired and dizzy from the boat ride, it was all worth it when I saw the beauty of the island. The crystal clear sea and quiet atmosphere seem to give a new energy. One of my unforgettable experiences was eating tinolang isda cooked there.
I also got the chance to take a lot of photos that will serve as memories of my visit. Even though the signal was limited, my connection with nature and people around me was the best part of my trip.
Carnaza Eco Park is not just a destination but an experience. This is the place where you can recharge and reconnect with nature and yourself. At an affordable price, you can experience this paradise. Certainly, every second in Carnaza is worth it and full of great memories.
Visit the Carnaza Eco Park, and make it a wonderful story to tell!
