In one of my previous posts, where I talked about photographing exotic fish at a Thai boxing camp in Pattaya, I promised to share a story about the camp itself. Today I am fulfilling my promise! My son, who has been training in Thai boxing for a year now, really wanted to visit the legendary Fairtex training center. He was curious to compare how this camp differs from the one where he trains. Well, as usual, I took my camera to capture all the most interesting things.
Fairtex is not just a camp, but a real forge of champions. For 54 years, since 1971, world-class Thai boxing fighters have been trained here, and recently a modern training center has opened in Pattaya, combining Thai boxing, BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) and MMA (mixed martial arts). The huge territory has more than 10 sparring rings, dozens of exercise machines for physical training and even its own hotel. The hotel is ideal for athletes who want to live close to the camp and not waste time on the road. For those who are interested, I will leave a link to the Fairtex Hotel.
The training here is conducted by experienced male trainers, but not only guys train. Women who train at Fairtex are so prepared that they can easily give a head start to many men!

The camp is open to everyone: from professionals to amateurs, regardless of gender and age. Prices for training depend on the season, frequency of classes and format - individual or group. This is a place where everyone will find a challenge and inspiration for themselves.

While my son watched the training with shining eyes and compared approaches, I, as always, was busy taking pictures. The athletes, noticing the camera, clearly perked up: the blows began to sound louder and the movements - more energetic. It seems that the camera added excitement to them! I tried to catch live moments: intense sparring, polished blows and the incredible atmosphere that reigns in the hall.

If you love impact sports or want to try something new, Fairtex is a place worth visiting. It’s not just a training camp, but a community where champions are born and where everyone can feel part of something bigger.

As I was leaving, I couldn’t resist taking a few shots of the local attractions: elephant sculptures and carved bas-reliefs that decorate the area.

My son also insisted that I add a photo of him on an elephant to the post. He was the one who initiated our hike, and I’m happy to end this story with his photo – full of pride and happiness
