Hello guys. I hope you are all well. Today I will share with you the history and some beautiful pictures of a very historical and beautiful place called Tomb of Dai Anga. Recently I planned to go to Lahore with my friends and we visited this place because we love visiting such historical places. This tomb belongs to the Babysitter of King Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal and many other historical legendary buildings in the subcontinent. This tomb is located in the heart of the garden.
This historical place is also known as Gulabi-Bagh. There was an iron gate outside it and inside it, on one side, there was a big board on which the history of this historical place was written in two languages, English and Urdu. You can see the board in the picture below and here you can read its history.
I was looking at the carvings and designs on the entrance door which are very iconic. You can see the 3D art on the dome above it and it was really amazing. Here you can see all my friends were walking ahead of me and I was busy taking pictures.
After crossing an arched door, I saw a dome above which had a very amazing and beautiful artwork on it. There were also two rooms on both sides of it and the doors of these rooms were also arched and you can see the 3D art on them, how iconic and historical it looks.
The walls to both of these rooms had beautiful artwork on them and this place is a beautiful gift of the ancient times. I took countless pictures of the artwork and my friends were way ahead of me but I felt like I was back in the ancient times.
After crossing the entrance gate, which was very large and beautiful, I saw a garden with various types of flowers but not a single rose, while this place is known as the Gulabi-Bagh. This garden covered a large area, but now it has been reduced to a very small area and the garden has been given the shape of a street.
There were mostly Marigold flowers here and in the middle of the garden there was a cement vase made in the shape of a flower and Marigold flowers in it. I took a beautiful picture of it and behind the picture you can see the tomb. A brand was shooting here and I asked to take a photo of me and he took a nice picture in front of Tomb. Now me and taha were walking behind and my other two friends were walking ahead.
When I entered Dai Anga tomb, the first thing I saw was the dome above, which had exactly the same carvings as the main entrance dome, and 3D art on all four sides, and it was very beautiful and amazing. I kept looking at this carver for some time and felt it.
Now we were on the roof of the tomb and we were lucky to get a chance to go up to the roof because it is not allowed to go up to the roof but that day some construction people were working there and the way up was open. Some things were being repaired on the roof so that this beautiful tomb can be preserved for a long time. You can see the view of the Gulabi-Bagh (Pink Garden) in the picture below which I took from the roof and now it has been shortened a lot.
Small pavilion as a designs were made on the roof of the tomb all around and they were also very beautiful. In the middle there was a large dome with tiles on top and you can also see the carvings on these tiles, how amazing it is.
You can see the whole view of the tomb from inside in the picture above, I took this picture from the roof. This tomb has many doors and windows and all those doors and windows are made in the shape of arches. You can see in the picture below that there is also a small garden behind the tomb.
Now we came down from the roof and my friend and I took a selfie. In the picture below you can read more about the history of this tomb. This board was placed on the right side outside the tomb. The entrance to this tomb was built by Mirza Sultan Beg and it was built in 1655.
Now after taking the pictures of marigold flowers and some other flowers, Taha took a picture of me in front of the Tomb. was also having his picture taken but he also became a part of my picture. We all enjoyed this place a lot and also gathered knowledge about its history. We all four friends are Hivians and we are very interested in knowing the history of different historical places.
Now we were going back and I took one last picture of the tomb from a distance as I was leaving and you can see a big wall in the picture below. This two-story wall is the entrance of this tomb. The way to the second floor was closed, so we couldn't go.
I took this picture of the entrance of this tomb from a distance after exiting the tomb and it looked very beautiful. We spent about two hours at this tomb and sat there for some time and talked about the history of this tomb. This tomb of Dai Anga is truly a beautiful gift of the ancient times. I hope you enjoy reading about the history of this place and my visit. Don't forget to give me your feedback about this tomb.
