- Hi everybody.
Are you looking for a special trip?
Then visit my blog for a few minutes, I will tell you a story.
It was a special journey.
- At the end of 2021 with a lot of pressure, my best friend suggested to me to go somewhere far away from the city to welcome the new year.
- And the trip to a mountainous region begins again.
- Dubbed as Ha Long Bay of the Central Highlands, Ta Dung lake is also Dong Nai 3 hydroelectric lake.
- Is a large lake with more than 40 islands located in Ta Dung nature reserve.
- This place possesses peaceful beauty and is full of vitality… Ta Dung is an ideal destination to explore or camp overnight to breathe in the fresh air and admire the majestic natural landscape.
- The right time to travel to Ta Dung is the period after the rainy season when the lake water rises and the islands are covered with a green color.
How to go to Ta Dung?
- Ta Dung belongs to Dak Som Commune, Dak Glong district, Dak Nong province. 280km from HCMC.
- We followed QL14 towards Gia Nghia town, then continued on QL28 through Quang Khe district, then to Dak Som - Ta Dung lake.
You can rent a tourist car or ride a motorbike, which is also a good choice for backpackers.
- Arriving in Dak Som, we rented a boat to visit Ta Dung Lake at the marina for 120.000vnd/person. We were transported to visit and to an island to camp, the next day the boat would pick us up.
- Sitting on the boat and feeling the fresh breeze passing by is an unforgettable feeling.
- Ta Dung Lake is like a blue mirror in the middle of the majestic wild highlands.
- This place does not have many entertainment activities, so it is only suitable for those who like simplicity, wants to relax, and enjoy a peaceful life.
- We entertained ourselves with a night of camping.
- A bit of activity with my favorite sport - SUP – Stand-up Paddleboarding on the crystal clear lake.
- In the evening, eat, drink and chat with friends.
- Morning sips a cup of coffee.
- After the morning we return to Dak Som and have lunch at a local restaurant and see Ta Dung lake from above.
What to eat in Ta Dung? - Grilled chicken, lamb rice are typical dishes of the Central Highlands and Ta Dung is also indispensable.
- sour soup banana fish.
- Stir-fried pork with wild vegetables…
- In addition, local restaurants also have quite diverse menus to serve the needs of diners.
- If you have more time, you can visit the small streams flowing around the coffee fields of local people. Remember to ask for directions or ask a local to guide you to avoid getting lost.
People often regret the things they didn't do, the places they haven't gone… Time goes by so fast. Don't hesitate any longer. If you have time, do what you want, go where you want to go.
