Hello, friends of Worldmappin. How have you been? I want to tell you about a day I went to Guacuco Beach with my family. My uncles and cousins came from Caracas to spend a few days with us, and since I hadn't seen them in a long time, we all went to the beach to spend the day.
The last time I had been to Guacuco was about a year ago. I really like this beach, but since it's a bit far from home, I don't visit it often. I honestly didn't imagine it would have changed so much. As soon as we arrived, I was surprised because everything looked nicer, cleaner, and more lively. The restaurants had been remodeled, with new colors and everything nicely painted. You could tell they had been maintained. And there were a lot of people.
The beach was packed, there were tourists everywhere, families, empanada vendors shouting. The atmosphere was very cheerful. There was music everywhere, from reggaeton to bagpipes, and the breeze was delightful. The sun was beating down hard, but with a good umbrella and a cold drink, everything was bearable.
We were lucky because my mom has a friend named Cruz, and he has a kiosk right there on the beach. He provided us with an umbrella and a small table, so we were very comfortable. We ordered some dogfish empanadas that were delicious, and we also tried some ceviche that a lady was selling nearby. And the best part is that everything was reasonably priced, in my opinion: the empanada was $1 and the ceviche was $5, so we ate well without spending too much.
After lunch, I went with my cousins to take a dip in the water. It was cold, but nice. There were also people selling bracelets, necklaces, and even beachwear. Everything was very colorful and pretty.
What I liked most was seeing how the beach has improved. Before, it looked a bit lonely and neglected, but now you can see that they are taking better care of it. I was happy to see that there is more tourism, because that helps the local people have more work and makes everything look more lively.
At the end of the day, when the sun was setting, we all sat down to watch the sunset. The sky turned orange and pink, and the sea sparkled as if it had little lights. It was a beautiful moment, all together, laughing and taking pictures.
So if you're in Margarita, don't miss Playa Guacuco. It's a place that has everything: good food, a cool atmosphere, affordable prices, and a view that leaves you speechless. Without a doubt, it's a very nice place to go with friends or family. I'm already looking forward to going back.

Hola, amigos de Worldmappin ¿Cómo han estado? Les quiero contar cómo me fue un día que fui con mi familia a Playa Guacuco. Vinieron mis tíos y mis primos desde Caracas a pasar unos días con nosotros y como hacía tiempo que no los veía, nos fuimos todos a la playa a pasar el día
La última vez que yo había ido a Guacuco fue hace como un año, a mí me gusta mucho está playa, pero como nos queda un poco lejos de casa no la visito con frecuencia. La verdad no imagine que estuviera tan cambiada. Apenas llegamos, me quedé sorprendido, pues todo se veía más bonito, más limpio, con más vida. Los restaurantes estaban remodelados, con colores nuevos y todo bien pintadito. Se notaba que les habían hecho mantenimiento. Y había mucha gente.
La playa estaba a reventar, había turistas por todos lados, familias, vendedores de empanadas gritando. El ambiente era muy alegre. Había música por todos lados, desde reguetón hasta gaitas y la brisa estaba sabrosa. El sol pegaba duro, pero con una buena sombrilla y una bebida fría, todo se aguantaba.
Tuvimos suerte porque mi mamá tiene un amigo que se llama cruz y él tiene un kiosco ahí mismo en la playa. Nos solucionó con una sombrilla y mesita pequeña, así que estábamos súper cómodos. Pedimos unas empanadas de cazón que estaban buenísimas y también probamos un ceviche que vendía una señora cerca. Y lo mejor es que todo a mi parecer eran buenos precios, la empanada 1$ y el ceviche 5$, así que comimos bien y sin gastar tanto.
Después de comer, me fui con mis primos a meternos al agua. Estaba fría, pero buena. También había gente vendiendo pulseras, collares y hasta ropa playera. Todo muy colorido y bonito.
Lo que más me gustó fue ver cómo la playa ha mejorado. Antes la veía un poco sola y medio descuidada, pero ahora se nota que la están cuidando más. Me dio alegría ver que hay más turismo, porque eso ayuda a que la gente del lugar tenga más trabajo y se vea todo más animado.
Al final del día, cuando el sol ya se estaba metiendo, nos sentamos todos a ver el atardecer. El cielo se puso naranja y rosado y el mar brillaba como si tuviera lucecitas. Fue un momento súper bonito, todos juntos, riéndonos y tomando fotos.
Así que si están por Margarita, no dejen de ir a Playa Guacuco. Es un lugar que tiene de todo, buena comida, ambiente chévere, precios accesibles y una vista que te deja sin palabras. Sin duda alguna un lugar muy bonito como para ir con los amigos o con la familia. Yo ya estoy esperando volver.
