When I was a child I used to read the book Heidi so many times that I learnt it by heart.I lived the world of Heidi and my thoughts and imagination were only connected to that magical place ,somewhere in Switzerland. In my thoughts it was the most beautiful place in the world and I had a wish to be there,at least once in my life. When I saw movie my thoughts were live again, it was the same place from my imagination.
When my cousins moved to Switzerland to live and work,I couldn't believe that they chose the same place from my dreams,the village called Mainefeld,the place where story of Heidi have started.Johanna Spyri was inspired by the people and ways of life living here for her story of Heidi. So the place Is small but unbeliavable,the attraction for tourists from all over the world.
My relatives rented a house there and the environment is so colourful,my cousins loves flowers and gardening and it Is the perfect place for her too.She fonda it very relaxing,after hard job.She enjoyed to sit in the garden watching the beauty of the landscape.

I cannot decide which one Is more beautiful ,the town during winters or during spring or summer.The snow Can be seen on the Alpa for a Long period of spring months..
The buildings,the streets,the fields,lakes and hills,everything Is just amazing there.
The town Is small but you can find everything you need,and you can go everywhere by bike.
