The mention of north of Norway can cause to think that it is probably dark and cold. And yes it could be minus 40 degrees during the winter. But the north has its values. A friend of mine who lives in Tana bru for more than 10 years, is really in love with that part of Norway and when I listen to her I have a wish to be there, because she adores that place. She is happy there and her living freedom and financial independence is the best she can have in life,
We talk almost every day, share info and photos and before covid I was ready to go there to search for new life. I even learnt together with her Norwegian, of course not so perfect but I like it.
The town she lives with her family is called Tana bru and it is famous for a beautiful bridge and river full of salmons.

The Tana Bridge (Norwegian: Tana bru) is a bridge that crosses the Tana River in Troms og Finnmark, Norway. It is located in a village also called Tana bru, the place my friend lives.
The river is beautiful and during warm weather there is a beach where they go to enjoy. You can see the moose on the beach.
Tana bru is beautiful during winter time too.
If you like climbing and eating delicous wild fruit you can pick some special fruit in the mountains so called cloudberry or multebær.It is is primarily a wild plant and rarely cultivated. The ripe fruits taste very juicy, tart and sweet. In Norway they are mixed with whipped cream and served as desert called multekrem, but majority of people only eat it fresh or make some jam or juice.
The northkapp or North Cape, the popular tourist destination is not so far away so my friend took photos there too.It is the Europe's the most northely point.

When it is about fishing salmon there is a nice lake near.
You can really enjoy in the nature.
Lapland in Finland is only two hours by car so from that part of Norway you can see Santa whenever you want.
Thanks for your time ,I hope you enjoyed the post.
