Hello hivens, is here again to provide information and stories about my travels and adventures that might be a reference for you to visit or go on adventures with me. Still around, on this occasion, I want to share a story about my trip to a tourist destination in Aceh Besar, to be precise in Lampuuk - Indonesia.
Lampuuk Beach is one of the beaches in Aceh with a beautiful charm and an attraction for regional tourists and even the beauty of the beach is also famous outside the region throughout Indonesia. With white sand and shady pine trees, this place is an ideal place to unwind. The beach, which is 15 kilometers from the center of the capital city of Aceh, was hit by the 2004 Tsunami, almost half of the population of Lampuuk died in the disaster. Trauma to the threat of the Tsunami made people reluctant to come to this beach, apart from the many fallen pine trees and debris left over from the tsunami. This had made this beach closed for tourism activities.
The deep trauma caused by the terrible disaster is still etched in the hearts of the people of Aceh. However, as time goes by, the community returns to fixing the Lampuuk tourist attractions because most of the Lampuuk people are managers, traders or service providers along the Lampuuk beach. Gradually this beach is also recovering, approximately two years after the Tsunami, tourism activities on this beach are also busy again. Not only local tourists, the number of NGO activists and foreign volunteers who stop by for beach tours, especially surfing, also boosts the popularity of this beach. Currently, Lampuuk Beach tourism can be said to have recovered as before the tsunami.
There are four entrances that can be passed by visitors to get to different sections of the beach, namely Babah Satu, Babah Dua, Babah Tiga, and Babah Empat. Each entrance is named in order of its position, from the southernmost to the northernmost. The paths that are mostly used by local visitors are Babah Satu and Babah Dua. Foreign tourists usually come from the Babah Tiga route. This location is usually used for surfing activities or just relaxing enjoying summer vacation. This beach is also equipped with various tourism facilities, such as banana boats. For visitors who want to spend the night, there are also various lodgings from inn to cottage classes with varied rates according to the desired services and facilities. In addition, on the beach side, visitors can easily find stalls selling seafood menus. These stalls offer a variety of grilled fish dishes, such as rambe fish, grouper, shrimp, squid, and others. This delicious grilled seafood is suitable to be enjoyed as a meal when gathering with family or friends. More complete with fresh young coconut ice.
Another activity that can be done when visiting this beach is visiting turtle conservation. Located in Babah Dua, turtle conservation can be a vehicle for educating children about environmental conservation. Although mass activities around turtle conservation are only carried out at certain times, visitors can find a number of hatchlings or turtle hatchlings that are accommodated in a small pond on one side of this area. These hatchlings will be released into the sea when they are considered capable enough to survive in the wild.
Maybe this is a short story about my trip some time ago to the tourist attractions of Lampuuk Aceh - Indonesia, there are many shortcomings in writing and also the storyline is irregular and also complete, in this case I apologize because I am still in the learning process. I really hope for criticism and suggestions from all of you, so that I can develop better in the future.
