Hello, wonderful people! I hope you're all having an amazing day. Today, I am thrilled to share with you my delightful experience of visiting some beaches in Calatagan, Batangas.
Before that, I would love to share my experience with a kind neighbor. By the way, I have been living here for 5 months already, and my neighbor always helps me by giving me food or whatever they can offer. They invited me to the beach because it's her mother's birthday, and they want to celebrate at Calatagan Batangas beach. Then I said that I would ask my husband first if he agrees. It was 2 weeks ago, before the day, so my partner didn't want me and my daughter to go, but I said I want to go, not because I want to, but because I'm shy to say no since they are kind. They bought swimwear for my daughter and also a cellphone case so that the phone wouldn't get wet in the sea. So I said I can't say no because they bought me things for swimming, and also I want my daughter to enjoy and experience swimming.and also this is my first time to go there.
We travel about 3 hours before we arrive at the beaches in Calatagan. We leave our home at 4:30 and arrive at 7:30 because we live in Cavite. The transport we use is a rented van that costs only 6,500. While going there, I enjoy the scenery along the way. When we arrive at the Calatagan public market, there are floating cottages that we reserve, and the rent is 4,000 for the smallest floating cottage because we are only 15 people. The small boat is used to go around the beaches, stopping at each of the four stations. The first one is called the Sand Bar because, during low tide, you can see a sandbar. The second is the Starfish, named because there are many starfish there. The third is Little Boracay, called so because it resembles Boracay. The last one is snorkeling.
All I can say is that the view of the sea is beautiful, but the food there is so expensive. Haha! If you go there, just bring all you need because the food there is expensive. Also, if you have diarrhea, you have to go to their comfort room (CR), and the boat has a fee because we are in the middle of the sea, and there's no CR available. There are many kayaks if you want to rent one for only 600 pesos for 1 hour, and for the banana boat, it's 2500 pesos for 12 people. If you go there, it is worth it for the perfect view for any occasion. Also, there are many styles of floating cottages, so you can choose which cottage you like, and you can book online too, as sometimes the cottages are full. When going there, you also need to use a life jacket for safety. Don't worry because the people in the floating cottages are registered ferries, so you don't have to worry, and they all know what to do if something happens. All the stations you should go to are not very deep, so it's safe and far from accidents.
