Hail to the Hive!
last night I was watching the Formula 1 racing kind of happy to have some sport to watch again and thinking what a shame no spectators due to the obvious global pandemic. I was thinking back to when we took a trip to see the last Race they did at the Sepang Circuit outside of Kuala Lumpur.
, 
and myself all headed out to KL and got ourselves settled into our repective places to stay and then set about sussing out our route to the Circuit. 1st day was free practice and it gave us a chance to figure the routes out and the network of transport laid on to the track and get excited by the noise 😁
A big smile crossed my face when we arrived at the race track. For one brief moment I was 11 years old again.

Now for some qualifying action!
Part of me wondered if I was maybe forcing 
to come to something she wasn't interested but when the 1st car roared by the big child like smile was also printed on her face. There's something cool about a race car, the speed, the noise. Hmmm thinking about it she used to drive her car way fast in jamaica so maybe deep down she wants to be a racer!
Good opportunity for her to use her camera skills also
We are both Lewis Hamilton fans as is so we were pulling for Lewis to get pole!
And Lewis Got POLE POSITION for the race.
The next day was Race Day. There's such a buzz in the air!
Have to admit I had butterfies in my stomach on race day. I'd been wanting to get to an F1 Race for many years but there was always something that got in the way. Not this time.
The drivers did a circuit driving vintage cars that represented their particular teams.
even got a personal point and wave off of lewis, hmmm something you need to tell me Lewis??
Happy? Oh Yes!

Lewis Hamilton bags 2nd behind Max Verstappen. I have to say we weren't too disappointed he didn't win. Still on target for the Championship. The beers will taste good tonight!
