The sun is on fire today, it's very hot outside and even if you are relaxing inside the house, the temperature feels so hot. So, I asked my friends to have a dip because it was so hot. And because it's unplanned, it took a bit to look for a place to relax like dipping in a pool or a beach. We decided to try Pangeas Beach which is just near our place.
Searching for the nearest area where we could go without much to bring because it was almost noon and we had only a day to unwind and relax, we came across this Pangea Beach Resort found hidden in Liloan, Cebu.
The moment we arrived in the place, it felt like heaven. Like the place is so majestic and seems calling us to dip right away. We were never expecting this place to be this wonderful. That feeling of having our first time yet this wouldn't be the last for sure. We fell in love with the place right away. This is perfect for relaxing and calming your mind after so much heavy work.
The Entrance
At their grand entrance, you will see a wide space as the parking area. If you are bringing in your motorcycle or your car, don't worry there is a wide space as a parking area. The ambiance is super cool for the place is in the middle of green bushes surrounding the place.
The resort has a pool and a space where you can touch the seawater. It is situated on the edge of the long and winding road of Liloan Cebu. The staff is very accommodating and friendly to all the guests coming in.
Room Accommodation, Cottages, and Tables and Chairs
If you want to bring in your family for an overnight stay, the place also accepts overnight visitors. Rooms are wide and accessible to the pool and the beach.
Seeing their rooms makes us a little bit jealous of not staying in the place. The place is so comfortable and its ambiance will make you relax. While sitting, you can see coconut trees outside which makes the place so tempting to stay.
For an overnight stay, the standard room is 2500 good for 2 pax with breakfast inclusion, family room is 3000 per night good for 3 pax with breakfast inclusion.
For day rentals, you can also rent cottages and tables with chairs. Cottages may differ in price. Some will have family and barkada spaces, but there are also cottages good for 5 to 10 persons only. If you have a low-budget outing with friends, you can only rent tables with chairs for Php250.00.
The entrance fee is 150.00 for adults, 100 for kids below 5yrs. old and you can enjoy the pool and the beach. Take note corkage fee is applied to all beverages and one whole lechon.
Pool Area with Beachfront Terrace
What I love about the place aside from the view, they have this pool which is so friendly for the kids and if you want to go by the beach, there's a little space where you can go down and dip into the sea.
After dipping, you can sit near the pool area which overlooks the sea and Lapu-Lapu City view. Which I love. The awesome breeze of the air touching your face will surely be felt in this area.
Note: The place will close at 5:30 in the afternoon. All the day rentals need to pack up early. So for day use, you can go to the place earlier so that you can enjoy dipping the whole day. But for the overnight stay, day can use the pool until 10:00 pm.
How to get there?
The place is located in the hidden paradise of Liloan, Cebu. It's near to the beach where you can see the view of Lapu-Lapu City from afar. It's 1 to 1.5 hours away from the city but you get to experience the relaxing space away from the bustling noise of the city.
By Commute:
From SM Cebu City Terminal, ride a jeep going to Liloan Cebu and let the driver drop you off at Tayud Market. Fare is 35 pesos per person. From Tayud Market, you can ride a motorcycle for hire going to Pangeas Beach Resort, the fare is 30 to 40 pesos per person.
By Car/Motorcycle:
If you are driving your car or motorcycle, just navigate using Google Maps or waze "Pangeas Beach Resort".
Indeed, it was fun and relaxing being in the place. You got to explore and enjoy seeing the beautiful views around. Unplanned traveling will surely give us the best experience and joy in looking for a place to unwind our troubled minds.
Even for a short period, the scorching heat of the sun will not stop us from dipping into the sea. Luckily, I have my friends who are always on the go without thinking twice.
