Hello, my dear Hive friends in this beautiful community, my heartfelt greetings to you all. How are you today? I hope everyone is doing fine. For today's blog, I will be showing you my wonderful trip to the Majestic View of Asturias Beach House.
Traveling around and looking for a place to relax is what we wanted to do during the weekend. Luckily, I found true friends who are willing to take me to places I had never been. For now, a beach resort is one of the best spaces I love to go to. Resorts that are also affordable with captivating views to see.
Coming to the sea is one of the best way of comforting myself after a week of nerve-wracking activities. It gives me positive energy and peaceful feeling at the same time. Walking along the shores and making my feet wet from the seawater's cold breeze brings an awesome feeling. Wanna join me? Come on keep on reading and I'll take you somewhere.
Asturias Beach House is located in Barangay Owak, Asturias, Cebu. It is one of the pride of Asturias in terms of beach resorts because aside from the beautiful creations that can be seen inside, it has also the best place for you to enjoy looking at the sunset and is a perfect spot for viewing Mt. Canlaon of Negros Island.
Going to Asturias Beach House
Before reaching the destination, you will find a two-way road, take the left side route because the other way around is a dead-end road.
These tall coconut trees will be seen before reaching the place. If you are looking for a place away from the city, then this place is a good suggestion for you. Aside from the tall coconut trees, you can pass by these nipa palm plants along the road. This made an extraordinary view of the road.
The Arrival and Reception Area
This is the view outside of the reception area. If you love nature and peace, then this suits you. Before making a tour, I will have to pay the entrance fee worth of 50Php or 0.91 USD for day use only while no entrance fee asked for overnight staying guests.
Their reception area is very local. The bamboo split designs add to the attraction and uniqueness of the place. In the reception area, you can see a lot of ornamental plants around. It only proves that the staff and other management teams love plants and nature.
The adjacent right side of the reception area is another beautiful creation by the management. It is a photo-op for the newcomers to Asturias Beach House. It is made of native fans in bigger sizes, with nito basket designs. Nito is a forest vine abundant in the Philippines that can be used in different products like baskets, hats, trays, and others. It's very appealing to the eyes of the tourists who will visit the place.
Take the Hallway
Walking in their hallways is very much enjoyable. Aside from the nice view of the place, the beautiful quotes written adjacent to the rooms are very much interesting. Love quotes that everyone could relate to it.
Continuing my walk, you will come across another beautiful display of creations. In the upper portion of this BBQ Station is a very nice display of basketry and flowers that are very much appealing to the eyes of the passers.
In the inner portion of the hallway is a display telling us that it's love month. I can sense it because of their decorations. It was so nice seeing a display of decorations like this. Using local baskets with matching red cloth wrapped around the bamboo pole, they come up with these amazing results.
To their Function Hall
Asturias Beach House is famous for accommodating different events because of its wide beautiful space around and its permanent beautiful displays in its function hall. If you are looking for a place for your wedding receptions, christening, birthdays, anniversary, and many more, well this place is very much willing to assist and accommodate you.
Looking at their function hall would tell us how creative their management is. You can see a set of flowers on the top with matching magical lights.
In the outside area, you can see wide space that will accommodate any events.
The ornamental plants being displayed brings another magical color and effect to the area.
To their Boardwalk
Another magical view you can see is on their boardwalk. It was a perfect spot for you to relax and unwind while watching the sunset. The place is so relaxing and peaceful.
If you love to feed fish, you can also do it on their boardwalk. The place has a lot of small fish around, and feeding them will make them go near you.
To the Lovely Shoreline
Walking along their vast shore is also my favorite spot. It will make you relax while making your feet wet with seawater.
You can also sit and relax on their white sunbathing chair. It's good to relax on weekend after a stressful week. Walking along the shores and exploring the beach is also best in the area.
While visiting the place, I tried to take a nap for a while on their sunbathing chair. Luckily, I paid attention to what my friend told me that the beach house is also best for unwinding and freeing the mind. Even for a while, I am free from unnecessary noise.
The Restaurant and Dining area
For your information, a corkage fee is being applied in this resort. There are different foods to choose from in their restaurant like pork, chicken, seafoods, and grilled. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you wish to try their delicious meals, their receptionist in the dining area is very much approachable.
The entrance fee in the registration area is also consumable if you will buy some foods to eat with you in the restaurant. In other words, if you buy something into the restaurant, the amount of money used in the registration will be deducted the moment you pay the food. So, its a win-win for the tourist.
The Room Rates
If you want an overnight stay, the place will also accommodate you. Room rates may vary according to the sizes of your rooms. The single bed room good for 2 pax without breakfast is only 1,750Php or 31.76 USD. The twin bed room good for 4 pax without breakfast is only 1,950Php or 35.39 USD. If you wish to bring your barkada with you, don't worry they also have barkada room good for 6 pax without breakfast for only 3,250Php or 58.98 USD.
It would be best to inquire or book ahead of your special occasion or vacation for you to be accommodated. If you wish to add breakfast in your stay, just add 150Php or 2.72 USD each.
Other Amenities Available:
The place also offers different activities like Kayak which is only 350Php per hour or 6.35 USD, and Estuary Cruise which is only 150Php or 2.72 USD per head inclusive of boat, boatmen and life vest
How to get there?
There are two routes that will take you to Asturias Beach House.
1. Trans central Hi-way (via Busay/Balamban)
From Ayala terminal, take a V-hire going to Asturias/Tuburan, Cebu. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Barangay Hall of Brgy. Owak. Fare is 180Php or 3.27 USD per head (one-way). From there, ride a habal-habal (motorbike) to Asturias Beach House – fare is 60Php or 1.09 USD per head.
2. Bus (via Toledo)
You can ride a bus from the South Bus Terminal going to Toledo/Tuburan. Fare is 195Php or 3.54 USD. Travel period is approximately 3-4 hours from the terminal.
If you are driving your own car/renting a van, you can then navigate using Waze or Google Maps, just search for Asturias Beach House.
