In November and December, one should get out of foggy Prague for at least a couple of days to enjoy sunlight and warmer weather. That's what I thought about on the plane carrying me to Barcelona.
The weather forecast predicted rain for all three days of my stay there, but fortunately, forecasts do not always come true and it rained only once and in a symbolic amount. The sun shone generously all Saturday - that was certainly a long-awaited gift.
But these are the pictures of Sunday morning - I spent this cloudy but warm December morning walking along the sea shore, watching surfers, runners, sea gals and dogs.
I love beaches in the off season.
Bad weather and winter kind of free you from the obligations of summer: there are no chances for swimming, diving or trying to get on a surfboard. Instead of all those things that keep you terribly busy in any place with a beach in summer you are free to go wherever you want.
The beaches I walked through (at least 5 kilometers) were smoke-free. Very convenient for those who do not smoke or do sports)
Do you like winter beaches? Please watch the rest of the pictures and write your reply in a comment. Thanks!
