Heya guys!! Today I got a chance to visit Manikaran Gurudwara and Gulaba with five of my friends from Kerala. After days of planning, my friends finally decided to come to visit me and take a tour of the nearby areas in Himachal Pradesh. They reached yesterday we went for an outing to some famous tourist attractions in Himachal Pradesh- Gulaba and Manikaran.
My friends come from very diverse backgrounds. They all practice different religions and speak their regional languages. We all know English and use it as a language for communication. We have grown up in different places and our friendship is held together by strong bonds of care and affection for each other. We met in college and have been great friends for the time being.
My friends visited me on 25th Feb to 27th February and we had a lot of fun together. We went on a small journey to Gulaba with my family. There we saw a 100 year old Hindu Temple, sitting deep inside the Himalayan valley. The temple was devoted to Lord Shiva and it hosts around 200,000 visitors annually.
After spending some time there, we continued our journey and then visited the elegant Bheem caves in rural Himalayan villages. Early prehistoric carvings on white marble were found in the region and its magnificent views drive the curiosity of backpackers from around the world. The following carvings show a miniature statue of Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman. It is believed by scientists
that the carvings were made in the 1st century B.C.
The place itself also offers magnificent views of the Himalayas. It lies deep inside the valley and you will see snow-capped mountains when you have a look towards the sky.
The area is a marvel of nature in itself and I will highly recommend visiting this place as it helps in creating a bond between you and the forces of nature. This divine place can be reached by road and is 15 kilometres from the nearby town of Kullu.
