Hola mi gente hermosa de #Hive, espero estén bien, hoy por primera vez en esta comunidad trayendo mis líneas para ustedes espero le agrade mi contenido y estar a la altura de los post interesantes y estupendos que se publican en esta comunidad, para todos saludos y mil bendiciones.
Este fin de semana quise salir un rato a recorrer parte de la ciudad de Carúpano que está ubicada en el estado Sucre-Venezuela, es una ciudad nororiental conocida por sus famosos carnavales, pero que tiene una parte en la historia que en muchas ocasiones pasa desapercibida y que pocos conocen, además de sus interesantes playas esta ciudad tiene un casco histórico hermoso, casas coloniales de más de 200 años y que a su vez mantienen viva esa esencia de como era la vida en la colonia, casas de grandes ventanales, puertas de madera enormes y rejado en hierro fundido.
La casa en la actualidad pertenece a una fundación llamada “Prosperi” donde trabajan con el Cacao criollo y la pieza que se ve en lo alto de la casa es parte del engranaje del teleférico que funcionó en mi ciudad y que llegó a ser el más largo del mundo a finales del siglo XIX, este teleférico trasladaba asfalto desde las minas de Guanoco ubicado a más de 100 kilómetros de distancia del puerto de Carúpano y construido con tecnología alemana de la época.
En otra de las fotos podemos ver algunas de las casas coloniales e incluso la estreches de sus calles, casas que representan la vida de las personas que vivieron 200 años atrás y que caminaron por estos espacios que hoy vemos y que a pesar de los años algunas estructuras se conservan intactas.
Esta casa en particular es conocida como la casa del cable, y es que en ella funcionaban las principales oficinas del cable submarino que comunicaba al continente americano con el continente europeo, fue el primer cable submarino en su clase conocido en el mundo y la intención era la de mantener comunicaciones con el reino Francia y parte de Europa ya que el puerto de Carúpano era el principal puerto del país y el punto más cercano de contacto entre los dos continentes, por ello la importancia de mantener una buena comunicación, esta casa a conservado su hermosura y se ha mantenido casi que intacta en el tiempo, hoy está en labores de mantenimiento, pero en otra ocasión prometo mostrársela como es por dentro.

La siguiente casa es sede del museo histórico de la ciudad y en ella también podemos encontrar piezas históricas pertenecientes al teleférico que les hablé anteriormente, la casa está en restauración y pronto abrirá totalmente sus espacios para seguir brindándole a propios y extraños una visión al pasado histórico de la ciudad de Carúpano.

The next house is home to the historical museum of the city and in it we can also find historical pieces belonging to the cable car that I spoke earlier, the house is under restoration and will soon fully open its spaces to continue giving locals and strangers a glimpse into the historical past of the city of Carúpano.
