Evening time always brings happy times. People out of their work in evening, always look out for some happy quite places to enjoy and get free from the tiring days. It is all about the entertainment and social activities that are available at evening in towns and cities, such as clubs and theatres, parks, or malls. But when it comes to beach cities, the lifestyle is completely different. During my Puri visit, I was amazed by the amount of lighting illuminated at the beach. In-fact the whole beach areas was flashing with lights and colorful set up.

Puri is not only famous for the a pilgrimage site, but it is also a happy hunting ground for the beach lover. Sea beach is another major attraction attraction of Puri that attracts more tourist and visitors to take a trip. During the day you may have sea bath. or spend as much as time into playing with the sea waves. It is true that at the end you will feel time become too short. While in the Evening, the atmosphere is completely different. I was thinking of spending some quite time in the sea shores, seating over there and enjoy listening to the lullaby sung by the sea waves. But I was amazed to find a completely different set up out in the beach.
The Puri beach located on the shores of Bay of Bengal is overly crowded as the sun set in. Most of hotels are lined up facing the broad strip of sand opposite the beach. So people find it easy to spend the time at the beach. It is not about spending time at the beach, it was a little small markets over the beach that comes alive as the darkness engulfed the area. It becomes one of the happening place in evening. There were too many vendors spread from starting off the beach to far off beach areas.
Puri beach areas have markets that come alive at night. These small shops have many things to offer, they have wide a range of souvenirs, clothing, and handicrafts. One can explore these markets for many unique finds. Especially the sea shell made items. The place also offers variety of street food options that are best enjoyed in the evening only. It was an unexpected scene, when I came out to the hotel balcony later in the day. The entire are was appearing illuminated and very happening.

It was not any festival season, still the beach appears to be prepared for the special occasion. It was kind of a small fair to attend at the beach. The roaring of the sea Waves and the lively colorful market makes puri beach a vibrant and happening place in town during the evening hours.
The lighting at the sea side, did not stopped us to remain in hotel, and we immediately walked to the beach to enjoy the evening hours. We already had a long bathing hours and now the happening market scenes pulled us back to the same spot. We realized it was the atmosphere which cannot be missed. The tourists and travelers from every nook and corner of India and the world can be seen here. May be because of the besch, or the market or may be for any other reason. But the places was lively.

Being present at the beach portrays the popularity of this most happening beach of the state. It was swarming with so many people that even we find it difficult to walk at certain junction. There were shops, and the tourist hub and to add on to their entertainment, there were many rides to offer for the families or the kids. The camel was decorated in such a way that anyone get excited to take a small ride along the sea shore. The camels taker were seems to be the busiest of all of them as the kids keeps them pretty occupied.

Shops, Rides , waves and now the evening too offers many beverages. The hawkers were carrying tea and coffee and seeing to different people. But it was not free they were charging the coat for it. We too enjoy lemon tea, sitting at the sea shore.

I never experienced this scene before. The night scene at the beach is always happening with people roaming here and there and enjoying their moment of life. We thought that the days are the best time to enjoy the beach sides, but the nights have proven us wrong by delivering that they were better than days. We had to accept the fact, after witnessing the whole night scenes of Puri Golden beach. We did spent a good time strolling in the happening atmosphere of the beach. We were there till 11 PM and not for a moment we experienced any dull moment. There were so much to explore and enjoy during the night.
The time spent at the beach were one of the best nights spent on the shores of the beach. Roaming, Shopping, Eating, Exploring the culture, Playing in the sand and if we get tired just sitting on the shore and enjoying the crescent. It was spectacular!
To best enjoy the time, do plan out during the month of October to March. The winter time is good to make most of the Puri beach. The local people said that it was a common scene at the place and remain at every evening.
