During my holiday yesterday I went on vacation to Suraloka Zoo which is a new tourist spot in the form of an interactive, educational and recreational zoo. Because the place is in the highlands, the air is still cool and fresh because it is surrounded by mountains and shady trees. The place is well maintained, clean and tidy and there are still many updates. The animals there are also unique and interesting to see
Suraloka Zoo is located in Kaliurang. With its location which is still in the Mount Merapi tourist area, we can also go around other tourist attractions such as Kali Kuning, Kali Adem bunker, volcano museum, Ledok Sambi and many more
If we want to enter the Soraloka Zoo tour, there are several parts, namely
- Suraloka interactive zoo
At Suraloka interactive zoo there are animals such as cats, monkeys, birds, chickens and other endemic animals. There are animals that have been tamed too, if friends want to interact with these animals, they are also allowed as long as they are under the supervision of the officers. We can feed these tame animals by buying food in the cage area which costs Rp. 10,000.
- Aquatic & Reptile house zone
In the Aquatic & Reptile house zone, there are reptiles and fish such as snakes, crocodiles, lizards, iguanas, geckos, Channa fish, betta fish and many more marine and freshwater fish

At Suraloka zoo there is also a restaurant that provides various kinds of snacks and heavy meals if you want to enjoy food while seeing various types of animals, there are also kiosks that sell food such as popcorn, burgers, corndogs and fresh drink kiosks priced from IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000Playgrounds
