It was too hot for a weekend to be spent in the city or in our room. So we had to go out! And there was no better place to go but in the chilly hills of Busay!
I was a bit hesitant because I was half expecting it would be a humid night as well. But I was definitely wrong.
We heard about Outback Servo and how isolated yet beautiful this place was. However, we weren't there for the view or for the place.
We wanted to go somewhere away from the city. Somewhere new. And hopefully, somewhere with the temperature a bit lower than average.
Outback Servo is located in Ipil-ipil, Brgy. Babag, Cebu City. It's about 3 hours of travel from JY Square Mall if you consider it as a starting point. Honestly, it was further than I expected and I was starting to have cramps from our motorcycle ride.
But it was so worth it! ๐
We were famished by the time we got there so my husband ordered the BIG BREAKFAST ๐ฅฏ๐ฅ
Hoping not to overeat, I chose the Creamy Mushroom Chicken Fillet. It has a creamy, cheesy sauce on top of thinly sliced chicken fillets. The meat was a bit hard to chew though. Still, the meal was great and got me so full!
As for my husband's meal, it wasn't called big breakfast for nothing. It had bacon, spicy sausage, ham, baked beans, hash brown, egg, and toasted bread.
Of course, I got a bit of everything too (wifey privileges) ๐
Know that most meals were priced Php 320++ and the drink started at Php 120++. We were too full to order drinks. But I really wanted some hot coffee and frappe for the hubby. Maybe next time? So we spent the rest of the time talking and taking turns in getting their lemon-infused service water (so fancy!)
It was such a chilly night. There wasn't any magnificent sights at that time but I heard you'd get a panoramic view during the daytime. At night, you'd be seeing lights of moving cars and bikes and a few from the nearest resto.
They had oldie music in the background and it was the perfect night out...until my stomach grumbled ๐งป I guess it was time to go.
The trip going home was just as chilly as the time we spent at Outback Servo. And then, it started raining. Well, the turn of events was super unexpected but we definitely had the breather we need.
