Hello everyone!
On the way from the Pavlovskoe reservoir (I talked about it in the previous post) to Ufa, there is a place of stunning beauty. The place is called Krasny Klyuch (Red Key in english) - a source of water that comes out of the ground.
Krasny Klyuch is the largest source of drinking water in Russia and the second largest in Europe. The water temperature is the same throughout the year, about 5-6 degrees Celsius. The color of the water is magnificent.
On the shore of a small lake there is a production for bottling drinking water. There is also a tourist area and a small cottage. Inside this cottage there is a staircase to the water, where you can plunge into the icy water. It is very invigorating in warm weather, but it is impossible to stay in the water for a long time because it is very cold.
There is a stunning forest around the water source. We took a short walk by the lake and through the forest and then continued our journey.
