Hello guys, this is my first time writing something in this community, I was really surprised when I found out about this community. Through this community, I can travel around on my own with my computer. It is said that "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. So today, I also want to share with you a famous spiritual tourist destination in the dreamy city of Hue where I live.
That place is called the Standing Buddha temple.
Why do I know this place?
I had the opportunity to go to this place by participating in the general cleanup for the community /iz/ Hue, which is a green Sunday program to help young people realize the importance of protecting the environment and preserving cultural relics, besides also aiming to return the sacred beauty of this place.
Some features of the Standing Buddha pagoda:
Where is the Standing Buddhist temple?
Standing Buddha Temple in Hue is located on Quang The hill, also known by the folk name as Standing Buddha Pagoda because from afar, you can see the image of the Buddha standing tall on the hill. According to some information I know through the press, Hue Standing Buddha Temple was built in 1966 and was greatly restored in 2014.
Quan Yin statue is being restored.
Currently, the standing Buddha statue is still being restored again. Because the pagoda is located on a hill so it has a peaceful, fresh natural scene, a spiritual tourist destination, and a pilgrimage that attracts thousands of Buddhists from all over the world to come here to worship and pray.
My own experience coming here.
When we got there, we had to go through a pretty steep slope and if you go here by motorbike you will have to park your car and then walk up to the temple, and this is also a wonderful and meaningful experience. When you park your vehicle, the keeper vehicle will give you a bottle of water and a bunch of incense, your task is that every step of the way to the temple you will bow once, and every two steps you will light a stick of incense to pray. Because the slope is very long, during this process you need to be patient and pray in accordance with your desire and heart. After you have gone up to the temple, there will be a table set up in front of the statue of Quan Am Buddha for you to put your water bottle in and then receive blessings from the Buddha.
Some structural details in the temple
This place is not only famous for its spirituality, but it is also famous for its wild and fresh beauty. Many visitors when coming here share that they feel like they can get rid of the busy, stressful, and guilty people when coming here.
