We've always wondered how it feels to be in an amusement park since we were little kids and didn't have the money to go there. We've only seen it in movies and on television. We've always wanted to visit Disneyland, the world's most famous amusement park. Even though we have grown up, our inner child remains with us. Even as adults, it's fun to relive the thrills and spills of a theme park. It gives you a sense of awe.
When we last visited Bacolod in 2019, we made a point of visiting Magikland, which is located in Sitio Cabug, Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental just about 20-30 minutes from Bacolod City proper. We just saw it on Facebook and were blown away by the spot, so we decided to go there. We arrived around 6:30 p.m., and there were few people in the park because it was raining at the time. Even though it is already evening, you can see the beauty of it. As you arrived in Magikland, you will see the castle themed building. You will buy the tickets here.

Magikland is the Philippines' first and only outdoor theme park inspired by Negrense, as well as the first and only theme park in Negros Occidental. There are a total of 12 thrilling rides to choose from - Crazy Surf, Ferris Wheel, Sky Tower, Crazy Trail, Family Swiner, Disk'o, Fantasy Carousel, Magik Bike, Magikland Express, Bumper Cards, Mt. Kanlaon, and Happy Swing. Bakunawa, the moon-eating dragon, is the inspiration for the theme of Magikland, which is based on local folklore and legends.
Because it was raining, most of the rides were closed, with the exception of the Bump Cars and the Ferris Wheel. So we decided to start at Bump Cars. It was a lot of fun, especially when you could unleash your inner child by shouting when you bumped into other people. Hahaha.
Following that, we decided to go to the Ferris Wheel area and take pictures. The floor, as you can see, is wet. You can get some great photos here because there are no bystanders because there are only a few people around at this time.
The neon lights of the Ferris Wheel, which can only be seen at night, enhance the beauty of your picture.

We decided to ride the Ferris Wheel after taking pictures. It was so much fun until the blackout happened and you were at the top of the Ferris Wheel, which was terrifying, not once but twice. Nonetheless, we would always enjoy a ride on the Ferris Wheel.
After our ride and blackout experience on the Ferris Wheel, we decided to explore the area again and take more photos.
They have a foodcourt which you can see behind me, you can buy and eat there and theh have a large selection of foods.
We approached a person to take a picture of us together because we were the only ones there, and it turned out to be one of our favorite photos. I'm hoping to return to Magikland during the day to experience it in a different light and to experience more rides. Despite the fact that there was a power outage, it was a very magical night for us. You will never regret visiting, as the location is incredible. When in Bacolod, try to visit this place because it has a Disneyland feel in a Filipino style. ❤️
