Hello, dear Hive community!
I just want to share my experience discovering Thiruvalla in South India. Early in the morning I revisited my new friend, bro, called Danny. He's an artist and on his property we can find so many cool things from carvings to sculptures, paintings, instruments and many more.
The most fascinating place for me, what a self-made house made out of mud. This keeps you cool in the hot weather and Indian temperatures. Danny wanted to show me around his place, so we went to see some nice locations nearby.
First place was the Sreevallabha Temple, which he told me is dated even older than 6000 years. I think here are still many secrets that are yet to be discovered. On a walk around the temple we met Danny's friend who prepared us some local dish (lassi) with mango and chillis inside. While I talked to this man, I realised that he's a famous actor and played in more than 100 Malayalam cinema movies.
The next place we visited was St. John's Cathedral, which is totally round and made out of pure copper. From the air, I could see with my drone, that the church was relocated some time ago. Exploring the church, I saw local wood carves, who created some amazing carving for the doors.
Later we visited also another beautiful church, CSI St. Thomas Church, which had a lot of medical plants growing around the property.
The end of the day we spent philosophizing and discussing incredible life, architecture and other wonders of life.
Unfortunately, not all the places we visited are filmed, as it was not allowed.
Since making movies and capturing moments is a big passion of mine, sharing them with a wider population which appreciate them, means even more to me. If you would like to support me, join me on my journeys and subscribe to my YT channel.
