Our day 2 for our Singapore trip 💕.
We brought you to the famous Singapore Zoo and saw various species of animals in there. Now, let’s move on to this popular garden hahaha. A garden in a dome because it is inside hahaha. We really made sure to go there since it’s a very famous tourist spot. We rode a bus that has a second floor in going there.
This was new to us hahaha. We’re with our cousin in going there. She told us a lot of places’ name and kind of a tour guide, sadly I already forgot about the things she said 😂. What I can remember is I love the spots and everything that she pointed at on our way to the garden. I appreciate the beauty of Singapore more because of it. The roads are really clean and the citizens are disciplined. There are a lot of plants anywhere, even if it’s a bridge, plants everywhere. We also passed by a building that has a mini forest inside, but I forgot its name and where it’s located hahaha. We had some catching up talks about our relatives back in the Philippines and her kids.
GARDENS BY THE BAY
Finally arrived at our destination. Going there, we passed by a hotel that has a boat/ship on top of it: Marina Bay Sands 😍.
But as usual, we only took a pic and went on our way because we can’t afford going inside hahaha. Maybe soon, who knows, I can come back to Singapore, enter and eat at that luxurious hotel ❤. It’s free to dream. We also took a pic with the fountain because it looks like a nice background.
We rode a shuttle going to the dome for 3 Singaporean Dollars. The place is too big and it’s tiring to walk and just sit comfortably while enjoying the fascinating view. The weather that day is hot basically but it’s mild and humid while riding the shuttle.
We gave our entrance ticket to enter the dome which was booked ahead by my cousin. We had a travel guide near the entrance.
My friend and I were both left in awe after entering the place. We were amazed that the garden is inside the dome and not outside. Then, the place is air-conditioned but the plants still survived. We saw different kinds of plants and flowers.
There’s also a mini falls called Cloud Forest.
I saw beautiful cactus 🌵 in there and since I love taking pictures, I have a lot of it.
I made a video call with my mother in the Philippines to let her see the view too, but I don’t have a pic of our VC. When my mom came here before, she wasn’t able to visit this place. She was so happy seeing everything, all those plants and flowers through the cellphone, especially since she’s a certified “plantita 🌱” hahaha. We spent most of our time that day in there taking pictures then enjoying the beauty of nature. We can also see the view of Marina Bay Sands in there ✨. ☺
MERLION and RAIN OCULUS
After our tour inside the dome with garden, we entered the mall with the rain oculus inside. The term sounds nice hahaha. I forgot where my pics at on that place, nevertheless, here is a pic we found on the internet of it. While waiting inside, we ate our Cal Cheese snack haha.
Going outside of the mall through the other side of it made us witness the magnificent buildings and beautiful structures. 👌
We can also find the Art Museum near there. We decided to go back there by night, by the Merlion statue this time because they said that it’s best to take pictures there at night.
And it’s true 💗. All your stress will fade away during that night. We can also clearly see the lights show of the Marina Bay Sands ☺.
Please join me again next post as we discover Singapore one last time for my blog ❤.
