Yesterday I went to a similar place with my friends, which is located in Punjab. This is a temple which is known for its unique historical story.
Its Story
This story is related to our Lord Shiva who is also known as Devo Ke Dev Mahadev and his wife Sati, according to the story when Parajapati Daksha, the father of Mother Sati, insulted Lord Shiva, because of which the mother Sati gave her life by jumping into the Havan Kund. Because of this Lord Shiva was very angry and took the burnt body of Mother Sati and started roaming in the whole universe.
Therefore, to pacify Mahadev, Lord Vishnu had cut the body of Mother Sati into pieces with a weapon called Sudarshan. Therefore, it is believed that one of the pieces of Goddess Sati's body fell in this temple.
Because of which people built a temple at this place and people come to worship here.
Name of temple
This temple is known as *Devi Ka Talab".
Its name is also due to the pond present in this temple.
How does it look
This temple is very big, there are many idols and many small temples in this temple. There is also a small pond in the middle of this temple, due to which this temple got the name of Goddess. Here you will also find many big sculptures, which are very attractive and beautiful to see. The garden here is also very attractive and beautiful. Many trees are planted in the garden here, where you will get a lot of peace.
