As we're in the first days of May, I did my first mountain hike of the season a few days ago. It was a month late compared to previous years. In previous years, I would start my mountain hikes in early April. The heavy snowfall and precipitation caused the delay. I took a lot of photos, so it will be difficult to fit them all in one post. I will publish them in two parts.

Early-maturing flowers have begun to grow. Because it's still early, the variety of flowers is limited at the moment. Most of the road is hilly, with short stretches of flat ground. In nearby areas, most of the snow has melted. The snow can't withstand the heat of the sun and starts melting quickly.

There are many springs and fountains in the area where I'm walking. Even on the hottest days of summer, the water is ice-cold. I vividly remember the effort I put into reaching this ice-cold water and drinking it to my heart's content during the summer heat. I continue walking, leaving the city behind.

A mulberry tree on a mountaintop in the valley. It was planted there years ago by a nature lover, and it has grown enormous. Eating mulberries on a mountaintop must be a great privilege.

A baby turtle... about the size of a walnut. Animals like turtles grow up alone, not needing any help from their mothers. However, survival against wild animals is difficult for them when they are still hatchlings. Both the number of attackers increases because of their small size, and because their shells aren't very hard, they become easy prey.
