Moc Chau is a famous tourist destination in the Northwest region of Vietnam. Referring to this place, it is impossible to ignore the giant pine forests or orange groves in winter and plum gardens in summer. A place where people are in harmony with nature. Let's explore the first day in Moc Chau, Son La, Vietnam with me
Moc Chau is in Son La province of Vietnam, about 200 km northwest of Hanoi. To get here, you can take a car from Hanoi in about 5 hours. Moc Chau is a place favored by nature with very wonderful weather: the summer is cool not exceeding 35 degrees and the winter is cold but not too harsh. You can come here at any time of the year because it is very beautiful but I recommend coming in September because there are ripe rice fields or January because there are apricot or plum flowers blooming beautifully.

I came to Moc Chau in early November and was very impressed with the natural scenery of this place. Everything is very attractive from nature, people and food. My first destination was Ban Ang pine forest. It is a very large pine forest that is doing business as tourism, hotels and entertainment. You can book a room right in the pine forest and play thrilling games. I love the cool and fresh air. I feel like all my stress is gone when I come here
Ban Ang pine forest is also a place to grow strawberries. Everyone is starting to plant a new strawberry crop so there are no fruits yet.
My next destination is the ripe orange garden. Now that oranges are in the harvest season, the whole garden is filled with the yellow color of ripe berries. Cam Moc Chau is a famous specialty because of its beautiful fruit and delicious sweetness
I stayed at Doi House homestay for 500,000 VND 1 night. This is a very interesting homestay located on a very steep slope. In the morning, you can hunt clouds. The heaven of clouds appearing before my eyes was amazing. The hostess here is very hospitable and friendly. She gave me a very detailed guide on how to get around and where to go in Moc Chau.
Children up here are fully educated because life here is not too difficult like in Ha Giang or Lao Cai. Moc Chau has known tourism for a long time, so the people here are very open, warm and enthusiastic.
Typical dishes here are wild boar, hill chicken and corn wine. Have a drink with the locals here. It will be a very enjoyable experience
Thank you for reading my post. Wish you a day full of happiness!
