Today I will introduce you a unique destination with gorgeous natural beauty. I just had a very interesting trip at the beginning of 2021 to the scenic Trang An in Ninh Binh province, Vietnam. Trang An is recognized by UNESCO as a world scenic spot because of the magnificent natural complex. It's a definite place we should visit once.
Ninh Binh is one of the ancient capitals of Vietnam, where the Dinh feudal dynasty was established before the 10th century. Ninh Binh is not only famous for its historical vestiges but also its landscape with forests, rocky mountains and amazing caves

- How to get there?
From Hanoi, I took a car to Trang An about 2 hours. After that, I bought an entrance ticket for 250,000 ($10). The best time to explore Trang An is from January to April when it is not too hot or cold and there is no rain.
You will sit on the boat to explore Trang An. Each boat does not exceed 4 guests. The guides row by their hand with two wooden oars. She drives the boat very slowly with happy and enthusiastical sense. Coming to each cave or temple, she will stop for a long time to tell the history about them

- What does Trang An have?
It takes about 3 hours to explore all of Trang An. Believe me, you will not be disappointed with the beauty here, it is truly magical and wonderful. The river water is so clear that green moss can be seen below. Limestone mountains are over 250 million years old forming a magnificent picture of nature. Trang An also has very lively caves. Each cave is named after the shape of the fossils inside it. For example, a "wine" cave will include stalactites with the same shape as wine bottles. Entering the cave is very cool and dark, you will find it very mysterious and interesting

Trang An is a combination of spirituality and discovery tourism. You can also try to climb at Mua Cave. With a steep slope and very high steps, Mua Cave is really a great discovery point for young people who love to experience

- What to eat there?
The specialty in Ninh Binh is mountain goat meat. when it is cleaned and grilled, fragrantly and deliciously taste. Don't miss the burnt rice when eating goat meat, it's the perfect combination
There are also mountain snails that are boiled, steamed or sautéed with tamarind and ginger. Snail meat is soft and sure to eat very delicious
