Atlantis Water Adventure! 🎢 Playing Water, Laughing, Fried Rice! A Day with the Little Duo 🌞🌊
Hello, hello everyone! This time I want to share an exciting story from our vacation with the three of us—me, Hawa, and Keysha—to one of the most popular water play spots in Jakarta: Atlantis Water Adventure! 🎉
This vacation is really special because… it’s been a long time since the three of us played water together. Usually Hawa and Keysha are busy with school and me? Busy being a full-time big sister who organizes everything, hehe 😅 But this time, we agreed: it’s time to get wet to our heart’s content!
🚗 Journey to Atlantis: The Little Ones Are Already Making a Noise from the Car
We left home around 9 am. After only five minutes of walking, Keysha asked, “Sis, are we near yet?” Even though we had just passed our favorite lontong sayur stall. Hawa also joined in, “I want to swim now, now!” 😂
But that was what made the trip even more lively and full of laughter. I played cheerful songs in the car, we did impromptu karaoke while snacking on biscuits. Anyway, it was already exciting before we even arrived!
🏰 Arriving at Atlantis: Instantly Gawking!
As soon as the gate of Atlantis came into view, the two kids immediately screamed together: “WAAAHHH AWESOME!!”
Hawa was pressed against the car window seeing the colorful high slides. Keysha, who is usually shy, was immediately excited to try everything. Me? Busy holding back laughter seeing them already super excited even though they haven’t changed into their swimsuits yet! 🤣
🩱 Changing Clothes & Ready to Play: Kid Mode ON!
We immediately changed clothes and entered the pool area. Hawa and Keysha were really excited to dive into the pool. Choosing many pool spots that they wanted to try. Meanwhile, I... became the photographer and the supervisor of the cheerful kids 😎
🌊 Wave Pool: Drama and Laughter
The first pool we tried was the wave pool. At first, I was really scared, but seeing Hawa and Keysha bravely running towards the wave pool, made me excited and ran towards the wave pool and waited for the waves to play their role. Hawa was busy with her style as a mermaid, while Keysha was busy being a fish-man floating on the waves. 😂
🌈 Slide Ride: WOOOOOO, FLYING!
Now, the most awaited part: the slide ride!
Atlantis has so many exciting slides, from short ones for kids, to really high ones for the brave—and guess who was the most excited? HAWA! 😱
“Follow me, Sis! Don’t be afraid!” she said.
And so, we went up together. At the top, my heart was pounding, but once I slid down… WUZZZZ!! The wind was strong, water splashed everywhere, and when we reached the bottom, the three of us immediately burst out laughing like we had just gotten off a roller coaster!
Hawa finally dared to ride the mini version, and it turned out she really liked it. “I want to ride it 10 more times!” she said. 😄
🏖️ Relaxing for a While on the Lazy River
After we were satisfied playing on various types of slides, we went around the lazy river while singing and laughing together, telling stories about funny events that happened while playing on the slides. There were so many games that we wanted to try, but because it was almost evening, we decided to rinse off and stop swimming.
🍚 Time to Refuel: Lunch + Ice Bland Time!
After we were satisfied playing in the water, the three of our stomachs started to “rumble together.” We ate fried rice with different flavors. Hawa chose fried rice with duck and green chili sauce, Keysha chose fried rice with seafood and I chose fried rice with tomyam seafood. While eating, we enjoyed the moment around the pool.
🏁 Closing the Day: Tired But Happy!
Finally, around 4 pm I think, we packed up and went home. All three were tired, our skin was a bit burnt, but our hearts were full of laughter and funny + sweet memories.
While in the car, Hawa said, “Tomorrow we’ll go to Atlantis again, Sis!”
And Keysha blurted out, “But this time I want to go up the STEEPEST one!”
Me? I could only smile and say, “Later… wait for your payday!” 🤣💸

• Hawa: “1000 out of 10! This is a magical pool!”
• Keysha: “It’s like riding a plane but wet!”
• Me: “The best place for a family vacation. Happy little sister, happy big sister!”
