Krabi Town is on the west coast of southern Thailand and is famous for it's amazing beaches, islands, it's sheer limestone cliffs and it's dense rain-forests, it is one of my favorite towns in Thailand, I have driven and rode through Krabi town several times now and every time I go through this town I find something of interest that attracts me to stop and investigate, everything about Krabi Town is beautiful and unique.
So what caught my attention this time it wasn't the Dinosaur or Crabs although they were peculiar sitting out in the middle of nowhere but that's what makes Thailand amazing, if you have ever visited Thailand you will know what I mean so getting back to what drew my attention to stop and investigate was this really cool black Oldsmobile sitting out the front of this Garage 37 Cafe plus I needed a coffee anyway.
Getting back to this Garage 37 Cafe, I was so happy to have made a pit stop here not only was the black Oldsmobile cool this was actually the coolest US themed coffee shop I seen for a long time the owner had some really awesome Harley Davidson motorbikes and a big job Ford truck all in mint conditions had all been fully restored.
Very impressive and a lot of dollars spent on these big toys I was talking to the owner he was a very friendly, cool guy telling me how he ended up in Thailand moving out of his Oklahoma town of USA where he owner a automobile restoration garage, it turn out we had a lot in common and lots to talk about because that's my line of work. We were going over his magnificent restored black Oldsmobile which had a turbo charged 350 Chevy motor under the hood and it sounded awesome all the interior was done in a nice soft red cloth and leather the paint job was immaculate and a great sound system to go with it, definitely a car I would love to cruise around in.
The cafe itself, well with no doubt this was the best stop over it was a unique and impressive cafe, I loved the atmosphere and the decor a great place to relax while having a beer enjoying some great American tunes, blues, rock, and country the coffee and piece of cake that I had was not only tasty but a masterpiece in itself the way it was presented I didn't want to demolish it just looked that good.
It didn't just end with a great coffee and a piece of cake there smoothies were something else and there menu included US and Australia burgers with Chicken, Beef, Pork or Vegetarian. Barbecued Smoked Salmon or plain Salmon and pure 100% Beef steaks from the US or Australia with mixed vegetables they even had Tacos on there menu and more certainly a great variety on there menu.
They also have a nice outdoor setting at the back of the cafe if you like to enjoy a meal or a beer overlooking the lake and the limestone mountains with the friendly cat keeping you company. This will certainly be my stop over for a meal or a coffee anytime I am passing through Krabi Town a great owner and very friendly cute staff.
