There is no doubt that the South Island of New Zealand has become one of the most popular destinations in the world, and its inviting sceneries are just some of the reasons that people love to visit. The region has a number of natural wonders that are worth exploring. The Southern Alps, with their towering peaks, teeming glaciers, and deep valleys, offers visitors a chance to experience unrivaled views and breathtaking scenery while enjoying outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, or hiking.
Queenstown Lake- The most picturesque lake I've seen! After visiting this beautiful place, I can't imagine anyone not falling in love with it.
Many backpackers come to New Zealand as part of the working holiday. The South of New Zealand is a great destination to look for seasonal work in the fruit and wine industries which are plentiful in the region or hospitality jobs. A few years ago, when I was still living in New Zealand, many backpackers were going to the south island for cherry and blueberry season. My friend and I also visited the south island during that time. In addition to exploring Queenstown for a few days, we spent a month living in the remote town of Roxburgh. We worked a lot and traveled all around the South whenever we had a day off during that time, it was the most memorable time w had. We experienced a fantastic summer eating the best fruit, hiking the most stunning trails in the south, and doing so many other activities during our time there.
Lake near our hostel in Roxburgh. We often came here after work

Bluff, the southernmost suburb of Invercargill, is home to an unexpected adventure. The name derives from the steepness of its hills, which are more pronounced on the Bluffs’ southern end. Queen Park is the public space within the city limits that we stopped by and had an enjoyable time walking around the park. I love everything about the garden, especially the rose bushes. The flowers were so beautiful, every color imaginable, and they smelled so sweet. With all the colors, shapes, and sizes of roses, it's hard to pick my favorite one.

I thought that this park is an excellent destination for having picnics, family outings, or just getting outdoors to be one with nature.
After strolling around, we stopped by at a lovely Thai restaurant in the town for lunch. Numerous cafes and restaurants can be found in the center of town that you won't be disappointed. 😋
