****Hello my friends in Hive Blog, nice to meet you π!
How is going about covid-19 in your country? But I hope you take care of yourself with the virus π.
As I promised, today I will introduce you to HoiAn Town in DaNang, Vietnam. The town of a culture long ago. The town stands out with yellow as the dominant color of city.
In addition to me, every trip was an interesting thing, something that was around me, curiosity, wakefulness, nervousness about where I was going. I'm very interested in exploring the beauty of nature, of cultural history. It makes me feverish, excited and happy π. It was like a passion, so to speak.
In 1999, UNESCO named HoiAn Town a World Heritage Site. It's one of the most popular places Vietnamese people & foreigners would like to travel to. It's also known as the International Truce, rapid growth from the 17th, 18th centuries to the present. And special it's a famous place to meet, exchange, and trade among Chinese, Japanese, and Western traders.
Actually, HoiAn is a city of Quang Nam in DaNang, with an area of 6.146,88ha. It is a beautiful town built in the 16th century and is now still in good shape. HoiAn is about 30 kilometers from DaNang city. There are so many wonderful places. Architectural monuments here are unique, blended a little bit of Westerners, and Europeans. The tradition and development is a wonderful thing to make this land beautiful.
The town represented its historical culture. Its ruins include: house, pagoda, shrine, the Imperial Church, Ancient Well, sepulcher...I think this place is interesting for people who like to travel culture or research. People here are nice and hospitable.
That's the first time I came here, I visit HoiAn town one day then I go to DaNang, that's a short time, but still enough make a surprise and interesting about HoiAn, and I never forget it.
When I came here about 5-6 pm, the town started being busy and light started casting its shadow. I think at this time the town is so beautiful in the twilight because there has a lot of lanterns, what a tender and warm picture this is. Every now and then my heart shook and fell in love with this place. At the moment I feel I'm drowning in this picture of lanterns.
After strolling through the streets for a while, I and my family decided to make a stop at a famous restaurant as a reward for the special food, it's Quang noodles ( Mα»³ QuαΊ£ng ).
I have to admit, these noodles are delicious and taste very special for me compared to previous times. That's why on weekends the restaurants were packed.
In the morning the next day, we enjoyed HoiAn town entirely. Quite different from the night before. It was quiet during the day here and the air was so fresh. So lucky for me, the days the weather so nice. I paced around the streets, eagerly looked at ancient houses, especially the lanterns that hung on every street, on every house, creating a very slow, romantic landscape.
The main means of transportation by local people and tourists are bicycles or on foot. Unlike DaNang, HoiAn is such a beautiful town, with no noise, no rush... At the moment frightened, tired of everyday life, suddenly gone. I was kind of drifted into the scene here. So we walked around the town and took a lot of photos along the way.
And every single time gave me a different sense. In the daytime, the town shows full beauty in its own way. The evening is gorgeous, mystical style. I like it, and enjoy it both.
I was caught up in the beauty of historic culture.
After a day of sightseeing, I left in regret, because everything here is awesome with me. I told myself to my heart that if there was a chance I would come back here again.
How did you feel about this place?
