Hello dear travelers! I am Jolie, a French traveler and amateur chef. I am currently vacationing in magnificent Kemer, on the southern coast of Turkey. Although we have come to the end of the summer season, this place still offers the warmth of the sun and the freshness of the sea. I would like to share my impressions of this beautiful place and the places I have visited with you.
Beauties of Nature
Kemer attracts attention with its extraordinary nature. Located at the foot of the mountains, this town offers sea, forest and mountain views all together. Especially taking coastal walks with the magnificent view of Beydağları relaxes my soul. The riot of colors that forms on the sea at sunset is eye-catching!
Beach Fun
Even in the last days of summer, the beaches are quite crowded. The air temperature is above 30 degrees and the sea water is also quite warm. Kemer's beaches are ideal for sunbathing and swimming with their fine sand and clean sea. Lying on the sun loungers on the beach and entering the sea in the cool of the evening is a wonderful experience.
Local Flavors
Thanks to my amateur cooking, I really enjoyed trying the local cuisine here. Especially the fresh seafood and olive oil appetizers appealed to my palate. If you come to Kemer, you should definitely try “Fresh calamari” and “Kısır” at the local restaurants!
There are many places to explore around Kemer. Phaselis Ancient City is a must-see place with its historical ruins and magnificent beaches. Also, climbing up Tahtalı Mountain with the Olympos Cable Car offers an adventure with wonderful views.
Kemer has a special place in my heart with both its nature and warm people. This one-week holiday I spent here gave me new energy and inspiration. If you want to make the most of the last days of summer, Kemer is definitely a place to choose. I hope this article inspires your travels!
With love,
Jolie
